From one star to another.
Miley Cyrus was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday, and wore a vintage Atelier Versace gown for the unveiling ceremony.
Her spiderweb-like dress featured sheer lace, cutouts and a crisscrossed bodice woven with metallic threads.
Hailing from Donatella Versaceâs fall 2015 collection, the sheer style was previously worn by Heidi Klum at the amfAR Gala in Milan later that same year.
While Klum paired the dramatic dress with an updo and shoulder-grazing earrings, Cyrus wore her hair in loose waves with side-swept bangs framing her face.
âMy name is laid in gold and pink terrazzo, and itâs fierce, and itâs fun, and itâs fabulous,â the âFlowersâ singer shared during the ceremony.
âAnd Iâm in Versace hand-picked from the atelier archives by Donatella herself, which makes it even more fun, and even more fierce and even more fabulous.â
Cyrus was joined by her mother, sister and fiancé Maxx Morando along with friend Anya Taylor-Joy (who shimmered in vintage Bob Mackie) and designer Donatella Versace herself.
The 33-year-old multihyphenate has long favored designer vintage in both her personal and professional life, so her look for this milestone moment was no surprise.
âPreviously loved / owned clothes = most sustainable fashion source,â she wrote on Instagram back in 2019.
In recent years, Cyrus has plucked memorable outfits from the archives of Bob Mackie, Thierry Mugler, Roberto Cavalli and more.
