Kate Hudson’s second son, Bingham Bellamy, celebrated his 15th birthday in style during his family vacation to Greece, with the Running Point actress sharing insight into the special day on social media.
Kate took to Instagram to pay tribute to her boy, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy. The first photo in the carousel saw Bingham jumping off a boat into crystal clear waters, followed by a snap of him smiling for the camera with his mom.
The third picture featured Bingham as a young boy, pulling a funny face. Kate also posted a photo of Bingham with his older brother, Ryder Robinson, together on their vacation.
She rounded out the tribute with a video of the family singing “Happy Birthday” to Bingham as a cake was placed in front of him. By his side sat Ryder, who cheered him on, and his younger sister, Rani Fujikawa, came around the table to fold him in a hug.
“My beautiful birthday boy! @bingbellamy you brought your own rhythm to the world,” Kate began in the caption. “Sensitive, endlessly creative, and always you. What a joy it is to watch you grow into the person you’re becoming. Happy Birthday, my sweet Bing. I love you more than you’ll ever know.”
Fans rushed to the comment section to share the love, with one writing: “He looks so much like his older brother!! And a bit like his Uncle Oliver too. I hope he’s having a fabulous birthday!” while another added: “Man you make CUTE kids!!!!”
A third chimed in: “You should be so proud,” as another said: “An awesome gent.” Kate is head of a blended family, with her children being born from three different fathers.
She welcomed Ryder with her ex-husband, The Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, in 2004, and Bingham seven years later with her ex-fiancé Matt. The blonde beauty became a mom for the third time in 2018 when her daughter Rani was born amid her romance with her now-fiancé, rocker Danny Fujikawa.
Kate previously explained to The Sunday Times that she and her children’s fathers maintained a close bond and worked closely together to ensure a peaceful family dynamic. “It might not look traditional from the outside, but on the inside I feel like we’re killing it,” she said. “The unit that I’ve created with three children with three different fathers is a seriously strong unit, and it’s ours.”
The two-time Oscar nominee shared at the Newport Beach TV Fest in 2025 that she made sacrifices to keep her family together, like going on tour with her exes so they could be with their children. “I have three kids, and I have three different dads, and all of them tour, and I made a very conscious decision to do things that didn’t take me away from my kids for too long, on top of trying to diversify,” she explained.
“I would make some hard decisions, and if it took me away for too long, I just couldn’t do it because I had to be with my kids and I wanted to make sure that I was the center of my kids’ universe and that we had one unit.”
Kate added: “That included me going to my exes’ tours and being very consciously uncoupled with everybody, and so that was my priority.”
