Hello HELLO! readers! Alex here. What a whirlwind week it’s been. Tuesday was an incredibly exciting day at the White House followed by the King’s speech at the US Capitol. I’ve covered many events over the years from the Met Gala to the Golden Globes, the King’s coronation, Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee and more, but that ceremonial welcome on the South Lawn of the White House might just trump them all (sorry, I had to). I’ve always said no one does pomp and pageantry quite like the Brits, but the White House put on an impressive display. The day was truly one for the history books, both literally and for me. I’ll be answering your questions on everything I’ve seen and experienced on Thursday when I’m back home in Florida, so feel free to send any my way!
