And just like that, the 2026 FIFA World Cup has almost come and gone, with just the final to go before a new (or recurring) winner is declared.
After five weeks and 104 matches between 48 teams, ultimately Spain and Argentina will come head to head this Sunday, July 19, with the match airing live from Met Life Stadium in New Jersey on Fox and Telemundo at 3pm ET.
The game will make for a wild, full circle moment for Argentinaâs Lionel Messi and Spainâs Lamine Yamal, who first âmetâ when the latter was only five months old and the Inter Miami CF player, then 20, bathed him for a charity photoshoot.
The final match alsos feature a star-studded, debut halftime show, featuring co-headliners Madonna, Shakira, Justin Bieber, and BTS, curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin in collaboration with Global citizen.
