Jennifer Lopez, 56, receives disappointing news 18 months on from Ben Affleck divorce

Jennifer Lopez, 56, may have finalised her divorce from Ben Affleck in January 2025, but their marital 12-bed, 24-bathroom Beverly Hills megamansion is still unsold. 

In 2024, the property was originally listed for a whopping $68 million. After failing to be snapped up, it was pulled from the market, and it reappeared with a hefty discount, being listed for $52 million by 2025. Once again, the house disappeared from real estate listings, and now it is back on the market, but this time for a cut-price value of $49.95 million.

Now, TMZ reports that a potential sale has now fallen through even after someone had placed a deposit on the house, which has no doubt left Jennifer feeling heartbroken and stressed. 

This leaves Jennifer back at square one with the sale, and now the listing has been removed from online leaving fans to speculate what the next plan is.

Ben Affleck has reportedly already signed over his half to his ex, so when she does finally secure a sale, the money will all be hers. However, this will still result in a loss as they originally acquired it in May 2023 for $60.85 million.

Impressive abode 

The residence may not be snapped up by a buyer yet, but someone will be very happy there one day as it has an array of incredible features, including “breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, creating a serene backdrop for its unparalleled amenities”. The features include a picture-perfect pool, basketball and pickleball courts, a fully equipped gym, a boxing ring, a sports lounge, and a bar. There’s also a bar, a luxury guest penthouse and parking for 80 vehicles outside!

The hitmaker has been married and divorced four times before, and she’s been honest about her break-ups in a recent interview. When the actress sat down with Subway Takes, she gave some candid relationship advice. “Breakups are not a failure. I honestly feel like it’s a launchpad into your next best self. We should have a party when we break up. People should say, ‘You broke up? Congratulations,’ because one, you made a decision. Two, it was probably the best thing for everybody.”

She also added: “If you’re the one who’s being heartbroken, you’re the winner,” she added, explaining: “Because if you go around your life and you’re breaking hearts, let’s say, you’re a loser”.
