Selling Sunset star Emma Hernan is back on the market after her split from boyfriend Blake Davis.
Us Weekly can confirm that Hernan, 34, and Davis, 28, have called it quits after two years of dating.
Hernan was first linked to Davis in April 2024 when he posted a series of Instagram photos of the pair together while on a trip to Massachusetts.
During season 8 of the Netflix series, Hernan and Davis were an item and although he filmed a few scenes, they didn’t make it to air.
“He went and filmed and put himself out there as well, and they cut everything,” Hernan exclusively told Us in December 2024. “There’s a few scenes where I have a bite mark on my arm, and they try to play it like they don’t know who it is. But we all know who it is. There’s a few scenes that if you go back in the season and kind of pay attention to what they did now, it’s super messed-up.”
The real estate agent explained: “I have been super private about my relationships my entire life. Even before the show, I’ve always been a private person when it comes to relationships. But producers came to me and they said that they really wanted to see my love life and who I’m dating. I opened up my life, and what happened was the complete opposite from what we filmed.”
Hernan noted at the time that Davis was “definitely more reserved” but told Us that he was “very supportive of whatever I wanted” filming-wise.
She also confirmed that the pair met in December 2023 and were “friends for quite some time,” adding that Davis was “very close” with her family which she was “grateful” for.
Davis was featured during season 9 of the series, which filmed in January and February 2025, but the pair briefly called it quits later that summer.
When season 9 premiered in October 2025, fans quickly saw the tension between Hernan’s longtime friends and costars — especially Chrishell Stause — and her boyfriend.
“There have been multiple times where I haven’t spoken to him for two to three months at a time — like, completely ghost. At that moment, I feel like I will never speak to him again and then they will be able to see that I am with him. There’s a bond there,” Hernan told her castmates during a November 2025 episode, defending her connection with Davis. “I am not saying he is the person I am going to marry. But I have had three boyfriends and he is the third.”
The onscreen drama surrounding the pair intensified off camera as well after Stause, 44, accused Davis on social media of using a racial slur and mocking pronouns before the episodes dropped. (Stause is married to G Flip, who goes by they/them pronouns.)
“He did not say that pronouns were dumb. He would never say that. He accidentally said ‘wife’ [about Chrishell’s partner, G Flip]. When he said ‘wife,’ I told him and I explained it, and it was the first time he was learning about it and he was trying to be good,” Hernan told Us in November 2025, defending her then-boyfriend. “This was also two years ago. This wasn’t like a recent thing. This was two years ago and I corrected him, because I knew I wanted to be sensitive. I’m super sensitive about the situation, so I corrected him and he said, ‘Oh, my bad. We’re from the south and we don’t really do it there.’ That’s exactly what was said.”
Hernan claimed, “It rubbed Chrishell the wrong way, and she’s protective of G and she’s an amazing person, so I don’t blame her for that. But he didn’t mean anything by it. He did not say pronouns are dumb or stupid. I was right there.”
While the alleged interaction between Stause and Davis caused a rift between Stause and Hernan, she remained committed to Davis.
“We’re on right now,” Hernan exclusively told Us in December 2025. “We’re enjoying the holidays together — and we’re very happy.”
Later that month, Davis gushed over his girlfriend as they celebrated her birthday at sea. “Happy birthday beautiful girl, I’m so proud of you and hope you had the best day ever!” he captioned a series of Instagram photos.
Hernan replied in the comments section, “Thanks for a great bday Blakey 🖤.” Hernan, however, doesn’t have any pictures with Davis from the trip on her Instagram.
