Kylie Kelce is clearly one of her future sister-in-law Taylor Swift’s biggest cheerleaders.
Kelce, 34, was spotted grooving to Swift’s song “The Fate of Ophelia” while serving drinks at Jason’s Bar Bowl — named in honor of her husband, Jason Kelce — in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, on Wednesday, June 25, per social media footage.
In the clip, Kylie lip-synched the lyrics and pantomimed its viral TikTok choreography in between taking orders at the celebrity bartending fundraiser for the Eagles Autism Foundation.
Kylie is married to retired NFL center Jason, 38, whose brother, Travis Kelce, has been engaged to Swift, 36, since August 2025. Travis, also 36, popped the question after Swift recorded an episode of his “New Heights” podcast, where she announced her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl.
“The Fate of Ophelia” was the first single from The Life of a Showgirl, which dropped in October 2025, and was largely inspired by Travis himself.
“I have a big file of lyrics, [which] is so long and so weird. There are just so many,” Swift recalled of writing the song during her “Release Party of a Showgirl” screening at the time. “When I’ll be in a writing session, I’ll be scrolling through this file. It was actually [producer] Shellback who came up with this really cool chord progression, and I was just singing on top of it, and my eyes scanned across ‘The Fate of Ophelia.’”
She continued, “I was like, ‘Wait, so Ophelia drowned because Hamlet just messed with her head so much that she went crazy and she couldn’t take it anymore, and all these men were just gaslighting her until she drowned.’ It’s like, ‘What if the hook was like you saved my heart from the fate of Ophelia?’”
According to Swift, the track means that her partner is “the reason [she didn’t] end up like this tragic, poetic hero girl who passed away in a fictional world.”
Travis inspired many of Swift’s Life of a Showgirl songs, of which Kylie wholeheartedly approved.
“Kylie listened to [‘Wish List’] first. She’s the one who kinda told me to go back and listen to that one,” Jason said on the siblings’ podcast later that month. “I listened to it while reading the lyrics ’cause sometimes I need to do that, but I think the sentiment behind that song is fantastic.”
“Wish List,” in particular, was written about Swift’s dreams of settling down with Travis — which will soon come true. The engaged couple are reportedly set to tie the knot this summer, though neither Swift, Travis or even Kylie have divulged any details in advance.
“I just wanna say to literally everybody — I know it usually comes from a good place, not always — but quit asking me and my mother-in-law about upcoming nuptials,” Kylie said on an April episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, also referring to Donna Kelce. “Nobody’s f***ing telling you anything. I don’t have any details. Stop f***ing asking me. Stop asking my mother-in-law. … Here’s the deal: Even if I did have any information, I’m not f***ing telling you. That’s private information, if I had it.”
