Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have been living in Portugal with their two sons, August and Ernest, since 2022, and they appear set to remain in their sunny European abode amid their baby bubble with their new daughter.
The couple welcomed a baby girl weighing six pounds nine ounces at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal, on 3 August.Â
The doting mother, who had previously welcomed her two sons at the Portland Hospital near their Ivy Cottage home in the UK, gushed on Instagram: âJack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank!! We are beyond in love with our girlie.âÂ

Inside the beachfront location
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Fergusonâs youngest daughter and her husband moved into the CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club after Jack began working with property tycoon Mike Meldman, who manages the 300-home development where properties start at ÂŁ3.6 million.
Mike Meldmanâs business, Discovery Land Company, explained the benefits of the picturesque location in its own magazine.
âThis stretch of European coast is indeed pristine â and it will remain precisely this way,â the article reads. In terms of the home designs, the âarchitectural aesthetic reflects a modern interpretation of the regional style, with farmhouse influences and porches and rooftop terraces that encourage outdoor livingâ.
While this project posed a great opportunity for Jack, it was driven by a heartbreaking backstory. âCostaTerra came to be part of the Discovery portfolio after a nearly 20-year search for an appropriate project in Europe.Â
âThe project was initially undertaken by a Portuguese family, but after their patriarchâs passing, they decided to sell. The familyâs permitted plans called for a golf course, 350 homes, and a hotel,â the brandâs magazine explained.
The beachfront neighbourhood comes with incredible vistas of the sand and sea, and there are strict regulations to protect privacy in the area. This is likely a big draw for celebrity clientele, with designer Christian Louboutin and Formula 1 star Max Verstappen choosing to buy in nearby Pinheirinho, Comporta.
According to the neighbouring resortâs website: âPinheirinho is the place where landscape and lifestyle blend in peace, from the golden coastline to the towering pines.â
It added that in the âextraordinaryâ area, âyou want for nothing.â
Inside Eugenie and Jackâs private family home
Back in 2025, fans got a glimpse inside Princess Eugenieâs home when they hosted Ayda Field and Robbie Williams during a sun-soaked family trip.
In photos shared to Instagram, Ayda posed with Eugenie in front of a large wrought-iron gate, before picturing her son Charlie and daughter Coco playing golf and enjoying a walk along the beach.
This reflected the laid-back lifestyle that King Charlesâ niece confessed has captured her heart.Â
âThey love swimming,â the 36-year-old revealed about her two boys during an exclusive interview with HELLO!. âThe sea in Portugalâs a little bit rougher, so weâve got our feet in, but Augie is a fish. He literally loves it and we have whales and dolphins all across the walls.â
As Eugenieâs little girl grows up, itâs likely she will be introduced to the beach lifestyle alongside her brothers.Â
Eugenie remains under the spotlight in the UK, especially over the past year when her parents were evicted from Royal Lodge over their connections with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and Andrewâs arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office while serving as the UKâs trade envoy. Â
However, Portugal provides relief from the scrutiny, with the royal admitting she can remain unrecognised at her local supermarket.Â
On the âTable Mannersâ podcast in 2023, Eugenie said living in Portugal is âthe dream.â She added: âI can go to the supermarket in my exercise gear and my hair piled on my head and not mind. Not care. No one cares.â
