Kevin Bacon revealed an unexpected new look in a hilarious way over social media.
The actor shared a reel in which he rocked a mustache on half his face, and no mustache on the other half, as he performed a quirky sketch while portraying two people.
Kevin turned to his side profile as he imitated one person saying: âHey man, thatâs some mustache you got.â
He switched sides and replied: âGee, thanks,â as the other person inquired: âHey, how long did it take you to grow that?â
The performer responded: âI donât know really. I think I lost track,â as the other person said: âWell, it looks great.â
Kevin replied: âReally? I think it makes me look like an old cowboy,â to which the other person said: âWhatâs wrong with old cowboys?â
Kevin concluded: âYeah, fair point,â and then broke the fourth wall and showed off both looks simultaneously while smiling with his pearly whites.
The movie star captioned the video: âMustache, no mustache, or half and half?â
His fans loved the charismatic sketch and flocked to the comments, as some stated their opinions, while others shared their own jokes
One person wrote: âNothing wrong with old Cowboys at all.â Another fan added: âOld cowboys are hot.âÂ
A third follower joked: âYou could be an actor,â while another commented: âYou could be twins.âÂ
One fan wrote: âAsk your wifeâŠrememberâŠsheâs always right.â Another commenter continued: âSomebody go tell Kyra to get her man under control.â
Kevinâs on-screen mustache looks
Kevin has been sporting a thick mustache for some time now, but in 2015 when he starred in the film Cop Car, he was bare-faced and he needed some quick help with his look by using fake hair.
He joked on the Today show: âThis is all smoke and mirrors. We canât divulge any secrets. Yes, I had to walk around in my off hours [with it], and yes, it is itchy. Those are two questions I will answer.âÂ
The actor confessed: âI can grow a mustache, and I can grow whatever this is [on my chin]. I end up looking like Shaggy from Scooby-Doo. But I canât actually grow anything on the side of my face. So when Iâve had sideburns in the past, theyâve been glue-ons.â
The entertainer joked: âItâs a little frustrating as an actor, because you want to be able to change your look in terms of facial hair. But I always say to myself, âListen, Iâm not going to complain, âcause I still have the hair on top.'âÂ
Kevinâs new looks
Kevin has not only played around with his mustache over time, but heâs also undergone dramatic transformations for a unique reason.
The star hilariously sought out professional help to enjoy life as a âregularâ person, while going to The Grove mall in LA.
He recalled: âIâm not complaining, but I have a face thatâs pretty recognizable. Putting my hat and glasses on is only going to work to a certain extent. I went to a special effects makeup artist, had consultations, and asked him to make me a prosthetic disguise,â per Vanity Fair.
Kevin had mixed reviews on his experience, adding: âNobody recognized me. People were kind of pushing past me, not being nice. Nobody said, âI love you.â I had to wait in line to, I donât know, buy a coffee or whatever. I was like, âThis sucks. I want to go back to being famous.'â
