Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro has 12 strong competitors fighting for their spot on Dancing With the Stars.
The upcoming reality series dropped another first look on Thursday, June 25, introducing ABC viewers to the upcoming cast. Host Robert Irwin said the show “searched the world” to find these top competitors, who come from across the globe.
“They’ll be pushed to the extreme,” Irwin, 22, said in the trailer. “The dancers will face demanding challenges from our incredible judges.”
Mark Ballas and mom Shirley Ballas were previously announced as judges for the competition, which kicks off on Monday, July 13.
“She’s coming at it from a coaching and judge standpoint. I’m coming at it from I’ve been a pro on this show for 20 years standpoint,” Mark, 40, told Us Weekly exclusively earlier this month about working with his mom. “Even though we’re looking for the same things, we also had conflicting opinions. So that should be fun!”
He added, “We had some disagreements to say the least, but we also saw it very much the same as well.”
