Ice Spice is turning pain into profit.
The âDeliâ rapper, 26, starred in a new ad for McDonaldâs competitor Wendyâs after she was slapped by a customer in Mickey Dâs.
In the humorous ad, Ice Spice â born Isis Gaston â promoted Wendyâs new spicy chicken sandwich and played on her rap name, changing it to âIce Spicy.â
âI heard Wendyâs upgraded their OG chicken sandwich. New spicy?â she said in the commercial before daydreaming about different scenarios, including getting a neck tattoo reading, âIce Spicy.â
âSpice recognize spice,â she later joked.
Fans commented on the commercial in light of her recent McDonaldâs beef.
âShe said she never going to mcdonaldâs again and got a deal with wendys đđđ she ate that,â one fan wrote.
Another fan praised, âThis is how fast companies should moveđđđ.â
In a shocking video released last month by TMZ, Ice Spice got into a physical fight with a woman at a Los Angeles McDonaldâs.
As the four-time Grammy nominee ate with a friend, a customer jogged up to Ice Spice at their table.
The woman tried to strike up a conversation, though the âMunchâ emcee and her companion didnât appear interested. At one point, Ice Spice pointed at the door, seemingly telling the stranger to leave.
The woman then slapped the Bronx native in the face and a fight broke out between the two that eventually spilled out into the street.
Ice Spiceâs attorney, Bradford Cohen, told Page Six of the incident, âThe unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly.
âWe are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security,â he concluded.
The âBarbie Worldâ rapper later made light of the altercation, joking on X, âThis wouldnât happen at Wendyâs.â
Ice Spice also has a personal connection to the fast food chain, known for the fresh, never-frozen beef. Before her music career took off with her 2023 hit âMunch,â Ice Spice used to work at the fast food chain.
âThere would be really annoying workers and characters,â she recalled during her 2025 appearance on âThe Kelly Clarkson Show.â
â[But] I would low-key appreciate them,â the âPrincess Dianaâ hitmaker added. âBut, like, low-key, though.â
