Hilaryâs take on motherhood
Itâs the little moments that matter the most for Hilary and she loves to make it count with her family.
She shared with Shape: âI just love watching my kids form into their own individual unique selves. I love my loud household with mayhem and the craziness and all the love and all the dirt. I love (parenting) with my husband. I love feeling like hugs and cuddles can make everything better.â
The Lizzie McGuire star admitted that she thrives under pressure when it comes to busy days with her kids.
She revealed: âI love the pressure of being like, âHow the [expletive] are we going to make it through this day?â And making it through the day and being like, âI donât know how everyone is tucked in and fed and happy after all the things weâve had to do today.'â
Whenever she is challenged with hardships, she makes sure to give herself grace.
Hilary added: âIâve had to get really good at being disappointed in myself. I think that when you have a baby, youâre just wired to think that you are loaded with all the answers and all of the capability. Weâre still just human beings.'â
Two things can exist at once and Hilary shared that motherhood teaches her that the parenting experience can be â[expletive] hardâ yet âendlessly rewardingâ simultaneously.
