Goldie Hawn, 80, defies age in striking power suit amid glowing NYC appearance

Goldie Hawn proved that age is just a number as she stepped out in New York on Tuesday night to discuss her newest children’s book, The After-School Kindness Crew, with HELLO! in attendance.  

The 80-year-old looked incredible in a coordinating silk set featuring a black top with laced edges, black pants with floral detailing cascading down her legs, and a matching black jacket. She completed the outfit with dainty black kitten heels and wore her signature blonde locks in a stylish blowout. 

Goldie blew a kiss to the audience as she sat down in conversation with Jonathan Haidt to talk about her new book, which she co-wrote with author Lin Oliver. The pair discussed everything from helping children manage stress to helping them build optimism and stay open to one another.

The Overboard star founded the Goldie Hawn Foundation in 2003 as a non-profit to help provide youth education programs to improve academic performance and well-being. 

Despite entering her 80th year in November 2025, Goldie is showing no signs of slowing down and instead has plans to write more children’s books. She puts her seemingly endless energy down to her active lifestyle, meditation, and drinking her juices, as she told reporters at a charity event.

“I don’t have [a secret]. I really don’t,” the actress admitted. “It’s not a secret. I try to drink my juices. I try to work out every day a little bit. I find moments in the day.”

She continued: “I have short meditation spurts during the day, if I don’t have a long one in the morning, which sometimes the phone rings and you’re off and running, but I do find time to get quiet. I hike. I bike. I try to have as much fun as possible.”

“I’m a dancer, so I can’t stop moving,” she added. “I guess maybe that’s what I’m talking about.”

Goldie previously told People that she preferred shorter, more consistent workouts rather than long, intensive sessions at the gym. “I try to stay positive and be very, very active. I walk every day, and I run and do all kinds of that,” she explained.

The star is a fan of daily exercise and meditation

“If I don’t have an hour, I’ll do 15-minute intervals. Actually, it’s a very good thing to do. If you’re taxing yourself too much in an hour, you’re taxing a lot of things.”

As for her radiant skin, Goldie credits a regular and simple skincare routine. “I wash my face every day, and I massage it for about three minutes, and then I put creams on my face and go to sleep,” she told Ageless Radiance Club. “In the morning, I do the same thing. I don’t do much. I was using coconut oil for a while on my face.”
