Former “Bachelor” star Clayton Echard revealed he made over $97,000 on Cameo in the last year.
On Tuesday’s episode of the “She’s All Bach” podcast, Echard explained that his viral dance videos on the platform “pay more than a full-time job.”
“I did 1,300 Cameos in the last year. So you can do the math on that,” he shared. “Multiply that by $75 a pop, you can see how much money I made from it. It’s a lot of money.”
Host Stefanie Parker calculated Echard’s Cameo earnings and couldn’t believe the total.
“Holy sh-t!” she exclaimed, as Echard replied, “Yeah, it’s good money.”
Echard continued, “And again, why do I have Cameos? Because I was the Bachelor. It brings opportunities. So I appreciate what I’ve gotten from the show.”
The reality star also noted that his money-making Cameos have allowed him to “chase my passions” and “dance more.”
“People are like, ‘All he does is dance all day. What’s his real job?’” he said. “I’m like, ‘If you guys only knew what I’m bringing in.’ Like, I’m chilling.”
Echard was a contestant on Michelle Young’s season of “The Bachelorette” in 2021 before he was named the lead of “The Bachelor” Season 26 in 2022.
He came away from his “Bachelor” stint in a relationship with Susie Evans, but they split after six months of dating.
Last year, Echard’s dance videos were mocked by former “Bachelorette” Gabby Windey, who called her ex a “toe-looking ass, skinny jean-wearing” guy.
“Have you seen his dancing videos? Oh my God, they will make you run, ” she said on the “Las Culturistas” podcast.
“I’m going to send you one, and you [will] wish you didn’t have eyes,” Windey added.
Echard clapped back at Windey, 35, in an Instagram video and accused her of “bullying” him over his physical appearance.
He said his dance moves are “harmless” and “inspired other people to get the courage to step out of their comfort zones and try something new,” before expressing that Windey was setting a “really bad example.”
“So, do better Gabby,” he concluded.
