New details about Eminem’s ex-wife Kim Scott’s reported hospitalization have come to light.
According to audio obtained by TMZ, emergency responders received a 911 call regarding a female patient who was “bleeding.”
The operator later requested aid for a “suicide attempt,” revealing that Scott, 51, was “unconscious.”
TMZ reported on Tuesday, July 14, that Scott was escorted out of her house on a stretcher and taken to a local hospital for undisclosed treatment. Scott has not publicly addressed her hospitalization.
Eminem, 53, and Scott were married from 1999 to 2001 and later for three months in 2006. The former couple share daughter Hailie Jade, 30. (Eminem also is the adoptive father of daughter Alaina, the biological child of Scott’s sister, and Scott’s son Steve from a previous relationship.)
Despite their two divorces, Eminem and Scott maintained a friendly dynamic as coparents.
“They really have a great relationship now as parents,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in 2013. “They are together all the time for the sake of the kids. … Despite everything Em has been through, he’s always been an amazing father, and always had a place in his heart for Kim because of their history and the kids.”
In the years after his second split from Scott, Eminem remained tight-lipped about his love life.
“It’s tough. Since my divorce I’ve had a few dates and nothing’s panned out in a way that I wanted to make it public,” the rapper told Vulture in a 2017 profile. “Dating’s just not where I’m at lately.”
Eminem noted that he would occasionally meet women via dating apps or by “going to strip clubs.”
“What can I say? Going to strip clubs is how I was meeting some chicks,” he told the outlet. “It was an interesting time for me.”
Eight years later, a separate source told Us in 2025 that Eminem was dating his longtime hair stylist Katrina Malota. Neither Eminem nor Malota have publicly addressed their supposed romance or revealed where they currently stand.
Eminem and Scott, meanwhile, are also grandparents. Hailie welcomed her son, Elliott, in March 2025, one year before Alaina gave birth to daughter Scottie in April.
