Hailey Bieber just proved that camo print is the hottest bikini trend to follow this summer. The Rhode founder took to her Instagram Stories on August 25 to share a special birthday tribute to her friend, Justine Skye.Â
The post captured Hailey posing by the water in a camo print bikini top and a pair of matching micro-mini shorts. The beauty mogul accessorized with a pair of oval sunglasses and her hair was slicked back into an elegant ballet-inspired bun.Â
Justine coordinated with her friendâs stylish look as she rocked a camo print triangle pinki set. The snap showed the pair sharing a sweet hug as they soaked up the sun. âBirthday bestie @justineskye,â Hailey penned over the image.
Hailey isnât the only star to embrace the camo print bikini trend this summer. Kylie Jenner opted for a single look during her vacation to Turks and Caicos in June. Kylie posed on a deck chair on the beach wearing a green camo-print bikini set that featured a classic triangle top and matching thong bottoms with tie-side details.Â
The reality star accessorized the look with a pair of white wired headphones, oversized silver hoop earrings, and a raffia beach bag embroidered with her brandâs name in pink lettering. Her luscious raven locks were left down in soft waves while her makeup was natural and radiant with a glowing complexion.Â
Camo print initally emerged on the fashion frontlines during the 60s and 70s with the counterculture scenes. In the 90s, it was embraced by designers like John Galliano and Jean Paul Gaultier, who integrated the utilitarian pattern into high-fashion. The look became more mainstream by the 2000s, with the likes of Saint Laurent and Valentino printing it onto their garments.

âI used to be a ballet dancer so Pilates for me gets my body personally in the best shape because itâs very elongating,â Hailey told Womenâs Health in 2021. âA lot of the movements in Pilates are very similar to dance.â The Rhode founderâs fitness routine blends strength training with low-impact movements.
âI really like boxing and Iâll do a couple of sessions a week in the gym, weight training and cardio. Exercise keeps my mind and my body really healthy,â she added.
However, despite previously being a Pilates enthusiast, Hailey has since admitted she thinks the workout is âa little overâ in an interview with Time Studios. âIs that crazy for me to say?â she asked, adding, âI love Pilates. I really do. But I think itâs become a little bit of, like, a fad and itâs really hard to find really good teachers that care about form.â
