It was date night for A-list couple Emily Blunt and John Krasinski on Sunday, as the pair stepped out hand in hand for a sweet PDA moment on the red carpet at the Lucille Lortel Awards in New York.
The glitzy ceremony celebrates the very best of Off-Broadway theatre, with 41 productions receiving nominations this year.
It’s been something of a whirlwind few weeks for Emily, who has been busy promoting her latest film, The Devil Wears Prada 2, while also being honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame alongside her co-star and brother-in-law, Stanley Tucci.
The celebrations didn’t stop there. The highly anticipated sequel enjoyed a blockbuster opening weekend, grossing an impressive $233 million globally – making it Emily’s biggest international debut to date, surpassing the $180.4 million opening of Oppenheimer.
Sweet PDA moment
For the occasion, Emily, 43, looked effortlessly chic in a sleek white Stella McCartney shirt and matching skirt, paired with coordinating Christian Louboutin heels and diamond-encrusted earrings. She completed the elegant ensemble with her hair styled in a slick bun and a coordinating white clutch.
John, 45, complemented his wife in an off-white double-breasted suit, styled with a polka dot pocket square, striped tie and tan boots.
The couple appeared relaxed and in high spirits as they walked hand in hand, pausing to pose for photographers. Ever the comic, John playfully pointed towards the cameras, prompting laughter from his wife.
Emily and John’s family
Emily and John first met in 2008 and tied the knot two years later in 2010. They have since welcomed two daughters, Hazel, 12, and Violet, nine, whom they largely keep out of the spotlight.
Speaking to E! News about her husband’s reaction to the sequel, which sees her reunite with Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, Emily shared: “He loves this one. He’s a massive fan of the first movie, so I think everyone was thrilled.”
John has long been vocal about his admiration for the original film, having watched it countless times before meeting his future wife. In fact, he once admitted to having seen it around 75 times.
“I’m lucky enough that she stayed with me and didn’t realise that she had really married her stalker!” he joked in an interview with Glamour.
