Kaia Gerber has certainly inherited her mother’s modelesque stature, as she effortlessly showcased her toned figure in a micro bikini this week. It’s hard not to be reminded of Cindy Crawford and her iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue appearances in the 1980s.
The 24-year-old took to her Instagram on May 1 to share a series of sultry swimsuit snaps, as she ushered in the warmer months. In one photo, a mirror selfie, Kaia is seen wearing side-tie white bikini bottoms paired with a semi-sheer, off-the-shoulder top, subtly ruched and rolled up to reveal a hint of her underboob.
Another photograph captured the actress wearing a different bikini – this time she rocked a black triangle version as she shared a bare-faced selfie of herself holding a selection of sea shells. In the caption, she penned: “the feminine figures must juggle something.”
Kaia Gerber’s workout routine
While supermodel genetics play a large role, Kaia’s flawless physique is also courtesy of her dedicated fitness routine, led by trainer Kirsty Godso. Kirsty has a signature high-intensity workout style, with a combination of yoga, strength, and cardio.
“One of the best ways to get toned is to incorporate resistance training. If you don’t have access to weights or a gym, you can incorporate bands or just follow along using just bodyweight at home,” Kirsty told HollywoodLife.
Kirsty’s routine blends resisted glute bridges, lateral lunges, deadlifts, planks, mountain climbers, and drop squats.
“She redefines what hard work looks like. Never not smiling while I throw anything her way – even sprints on the curve with the weight vest,” the trainer penned about Kaia on Instagram. “Kaia is known for many things but for me, she’s a better dose of energy than a morning cup of coffee. Not even mad that at top speed she can out sprint me on the curve treadmill these days because she deserves it. In and out of the gym she is the brightest star who makes everyone’s day better just from being in close orbit.”
Kirst has her very own website that features routines that can be completed at home or in the gym. The series of at-home workouts include signature strength, sweat, sculpt, and stretch classes that differ in length, intensity, and equipment options.
“Pyro is all about energy, a force and fire within you,” she told Vogue. “You are the fire. Without being cringe, it’s just about feeling lit up in yourself and confident.”
