Carrie Johnson has jetted off on a luxurious Italian getaway with her husband, Boris Johnson and their brood of four: Wilfred, five, Romy, four, Frank, two, and baby Poppy.
While no doubt fans were taken by the sprawling mountain backdrop and enviable sunshine documented in Carrieâs photos from the trip, one thing we couldnât get over was her daughter Romyâs beautiful mermaid-like waves in her tumbling hair.
The family of six is visiting Carrieâs parents, and, while exploring the grounds of her vast accommodation, Romy was taken by a beautiful lemon tree where she was photographed sporting her lengthy honey-blonde locks.
âFamily time in Italy,â Carrie penned in the caption alongside a red love heart and Italian flag emojis. Â In the image, Romy is facing away from the camera, perfectly matching the stunning spruce, wearing a blue and yellow summer dress.
Runs in the family
The photo of Romyâs beautiful wavy hair came just days after Carrie showed off her own transformed mermaid-like tresses.
The former media rep was full of pride as she unveiled her locks, which are usually rather sleek, in their new mermaid-wave style, which she put down to haircare line, Merwave.
Taking to her Instagram Stories last week, Carrie penned: âBeen seeing Merwave on my Instagram for a long time, which claims to bring out your natural wave if you think you have naturally wavy hair. So finally bought itâŠâ
âWell, it certainly works,â the former media rep wrote, sharing a close-up look of her beach-ready waves.Â
Holiday mode
The Johnson siblings appear to have had a wonderful time away. Another image from the trip featured a playful Wilfred exploring the familyâs villa, his signature wild blonde hair on full display. Frankie, two, was also his fatherâs double, as he was seen playing in the trees.
In a more relaxed moment from their holiday, Romy was seen laying down with her baby sister, Poppy, with the pair in matching floral swimsuits. Little Poppy was also seen with a floral-patterned bucket hat on her head â so sweet!
