Carrie Johnson never disappoints fans when she shares updates from her storybook life with her four children, and her latest update may have been the sweetest yet.
Taking to her Instagram account, the mother-of-four showed off her latest arrival, baby Poppyâs vibrant red hair, which shone beautifully in the sunshine while being photographed at the Johnson family home in Brightwell Manor, in Oxfordshire.Â
In the snap, the tiny baby girl could be seen holding onto the bannisters, wearing a beautiful spring outfit comprised of a knitted yellow cardigan adorned with her namesake flowers, and matching trousers.Â
Carrie and Boris welcomed their bundle of joy just under a year ago, with the former media rep keeping her pregnancy under wraps until Poppyâs arrival.Â
Shortly after Poppy came into the world, Carrie revealed the news on social media, writing: âWelcome to the world, Poppy Eliza Josephine Johnson, born on 21st May. Aka Pops, Pop Tart [love heart emoji]. I canât believe how pretty and tiny you are. Feel so incredibly lucky. We are all totally smitten. Not sure Iâve slept a minute since you were born, as I canât stop looking at how completely lovely you are.â
Â
At the time, Carrie added: âThank you so much to the amazing maternity team at UCLH and particularly to Asma and Patrick, who have looked after me so well through all my pregnancies. I really cannot thank you guys enough. [two love heart emojis].â
Carrie and Boris also share six-year-old Wilfred, four-year-old Romy and two-year-old Frankie.Â
Life with the Johnsons
While no doubt Carrieâs life with her children looks picture-perfect, she did reveal a very relatable problem for most parents after her adorable brood took to her wallpapered walls with a felt-tip pen.Â
âTips to get black pen off delicate wallpaper and paintwork, please,â Carrie asked in her caption, sharing a close-up photo of the damage.Â
She added: âHowâs your bank holiday going? Iâll start⊠[laughing emoji]. Sharing this here as I know I have lots of lovely mum followers.
âNeed all your tips and advice for this one, as wallpaper is very delicate. Please post below if you have any pearls of wisdom! Thank you.âÂ
Carrie continued: âUpdate: Have managed to at least lessen the pen on the paintwork but having zero luck with the wallpaper.
âHave tried hairspray on cotton bud as many here have suggested that but sadly has not done a thing. Iâve just ordered some hand sanitizer on Amazon prime but presume if hairspray doesnât work that prob wonât too as both alcohol based?â
