Cardi B sets record straight on butt reduction rumors

Cardi B confirmed the rumors that she had a butt reduction.

During a recent Instagram Live session, the “WAP” rapper — who received biopolymer injections, silicone-based fillers not approved by the FDA, when she was 21 — addressed fans who keep telling her to “get [her] ass reduced.”

“I don’t need to go get my ass reduced. News flash, I did get my ass reduced,” she said, per a video shared online.

Cardi, born Belcalis Almánzar, explained that she “can’t just go and lipo my butt because my skin is kinda loose.”

“That’s why my ass shakes so much,” she said.

“So, if I just go and get a lipo reduction, that is the easy way, my ass could drop. So, I would have to cut myself. And I’m not cutting myself. I’m not sitting down for four months,” the Grow-Good Beauty founder added.

“I’m outside, like I said. I like my body how it looks right now. I’m comfortable in my skin.”

Cardi, 33, then said she is “very honest” with the public before revealing that “got two lipos and one ass reduction.”

The “I Like It” emcee said her “small” frame influenced her decision to go forward with the butt reduction.

“First thing first, I am a small girl,” she shared. “I’m a very small, petite girl. My mom is petite. My sister’s petite. My aunts are small.”

Cardi then gave her followers advice on what she eats so they could look “snatched” like her.

The Grammy winner said she eats grilled chicken and salmon and drinks beverages with fiber.

“That’s what I do. I’m being as honest as possible,” she added. “[Anytime] someone’s talking about oh, ‘I look good,’ y’all say I’m doing surgery.”

“So shut the f–k up! It just gives straight, hater. Hating ass bitches. Enjoy your life. Enjoy yourself, enjoy your everything.”

In 2018, Cardi revealed she got illegal butt injections in a basement in Queens, New York, for the sum of $800.

“They don’t numb your ass with anything,” she told GQ at the time. “It was the craziest pain ever. I felt like I was gonna pass out. I felt a little dizzy. And it leaks for, like, five days.”

Last year, the mom of four revealed she got a butt reduction surgery while advising people against getting a butt crack piercing.

“I have surgery on my butt. You know, sometimes people say that my butt is too big, but they don’t understand. They already did a butt surgery to reduce my ass,” she revealed on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.

“So, you know, like when people do a tummy tuck in your stomach? I practically did a tummy tuck on my ass, like on top, so I could remove some biopolymers. So, like the top of my ass, like that skin part is like numb, like a tummy tuck. So when I pierced my ass, I ain’t felt s–t.”

Cardi has had several other cosmetic procedures over the years, including getting teeth veneers and a breast augmentation.

In 2019, she vowed never to get plastic surgery again.
