Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are eyeing a move across the pond, according to a new report.
The couple have âdiscussed moving to the United Kingdomâ as the actressâ legal war with Justin Baldoni rages on, a source told the Daily Mail on Thursday.
âWith Ryanâs huge success with [his Welsh soccer club], Wrexham, he has a great affinity for the UK,â the insider added, noting that Lively, 38, âcould rebrand there.â
The âGossip Girlâ alum reportedly âbelieves there are top of the line filmmakers who could give her a second chance.â
The outlet claimed âmost people in the industryâ are âsteer[ing] clearâ of Lively over her viral feud with her âIt Ends With Usâ co-star.
Baldoni, 42, and Lively, notably, are set to go to trial next month.
âBlake isnât getting the offers,â a second source alleged. âThere hasnât been anywhere near the same interest in her since the Baldoni drama exploded. Sheâs burned bridges.â
While a move to Wales has been a topic of conversation â or even âsplitting their time more between there and the USâ â Lively and Reynolds wish to prioritize their four children.
âWhatâs making them take a long, hard look at their immediate future is that their kidsâ schooling and friends are in the States,â the outlet claimed, dubbing the âShallowsâ star a âtruly amazing mother.â
She and Reynolds, 49, are the parents of daughters James, Inez and Betty, as well as son Olin.
The âGreen Lanternâ co-stars are âtiredâ and ânot as playfulâ as before, according to the Daily Mail, with one insider saying, â[Theyâre not] being very social these days. ⊠Theyâre just preoccupied.â
Reps for Lively and Reynolds did not immediately respond to Page Sixâs requests for comment.
The latter made headlines for suing Baldoni in December 2024, four months after âIt Ends With Usâ hit theaters.
A judge threw out her sexual harassment, defamation and conspiracy claims earlier this month due to the court determining Lively was an independent contractor, not an employee.
However, Livelyâs claims of breach of contract, retaliation and aiding and abetting in retaliation are moving forward.
Lively has a âchallenging pathâ ahead in Hollywood as the drama plays out, brand specialist Kayley Cornelius told Page Six on April 3.
âThere is a real risk she could ⊠struggle to secure major roles or brand deals going forward,â the PR maven explained. âWith the impact of cancel culture and increased scrutiny, there is less appetite to take risks on talent who may be seen as controversial or commercially uncertain.â
Cornelius declared a âlegacy nameâ like Lively is âno longer untouchableâ in the wake of the scandal.
