On this press tour, the devil’s in the details.

Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep are circling the globe to promote “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” and the fashion has matched the film’s legacy beat for beat.

With stylist Erin Walsh dressing Hathaway, 43, and Micaela Erlanger handling Streep, 76, the duo have leaned into cerulean callbacks, devil-red power plays and sharp designer pulls from Schiaparelli to Chanel and, of course, Prada. Even Miranda Priestly would approve.

The sequel — which also reunites Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci alongside newcomers like Simone Ashley and Kenneth Branagh — hits theaters May 1. Below, see how the co-stars are dressing for every stop.

On stage at the Oscars, Hathaway staged a surprise “Devil Wears Prada” moment with Anna Wintour — the real-life inspiration for Miranda Priestly — while presenting the awards for Best Costume Design and Best Makeup and Hairstyling. Hathaway wore a floral Valentino gown, widely read as a wink at Priestly’s withering “Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking” line.

The official tour kicked off at the Museo Frida Kahlo in Mexico City. Hathaway wore a black Schiaparelli fringe-trimmed skirt set with a gold surrealist eye belt, the brand’s keyhole pumps and Bulgari jewelry and sunglasses.

Streep made a designer homage to the film in head-to-toe red, pairing a custom Dolce & Gabbana suit and pussy-bow blouse with patent Aldo slingbacks. She accessorized with a custom Olympia Le-Tan clutch modeled after the original movie poster, Fope jewelry and Emmanuelle Khanh sunglasses.

For the evening event, Hathaway walked the carpet in a sequined Stella McCartney fall 2026 minidress with thigh-high black boots — a nod to the Chanel boots Andy Sachs famously wore during her movie makeover. Streep opted for a navy Schiaparelli shirtdress with gold eye-shaped buttons, “teeth” earrings and the brand’s surrealist face bag.

Streep arrived at “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” studio in a Givenchy cheetah-print coat with a pussy-bow, Gianvito Rossi slingback pumps, a DeMellier bag, Fope jewelry and Lapima cat-eye sunglasses.

For the taping, she swapped into the night’s main event: a custom cerulean cable-knit J.Crew cashmere sweater, designed with Erlanger as a direct callback to Andy Sachs’ “lumpy blue sweater” from the film’s most-quoted monologue. She paired it with blue eyeglasses, black Dolce & Gabbana trousers, Mejuri jewelry and Gianvito Rossi loafer heels. “This is Annie Hathaway’s outfit from the first ‘Devil Wears Prada,’” she told Colbert.

The co-stars coordinated in black, white and red for the film’s first Asia stop. Hathaway wore a spring 2026 Valentino Haute Couture strapless gown with layers of billowing ruffles. She accessorized with ivory Valentino Rockstud heels — the same style prominently featured in the sequel’s trailer — and Bulgari Serpenti earrings.

Streep added Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel to her growing press tour résumé, turning heads in a fringed set from the spring 2026 Métiers d’Art collection along with cap-toe heels, dark sunglasses and black Chanel clutch.

Hathaway broke out the same Rockstud pumps for press interviews, styling them with brown trousers and a black-and-white striped top with a red tie. Streep, naturally, opted for a cerulean suit.

Hathaway offered her own cerulean tribute in a Sacai fall 2026 off-the-shoulder knit in a shade that Miranda would insist is neither turquoise nor lapis, pairing it with the Japanese brand’s skirted trousers for press interviews.

Streep, meanwhile, wore the same Schiaparelli fringed top and keyhole pumps her co-star debuted in Mexico City the week prior, making them her own with a more subdued belt and cropped trousers.

For a press conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul, Streep referenced the film’s title in the most literal way yet, wearing a custom open-neck Prada suit in devil red.

She and Erlanger styled the look with a brown belt, David Yurman gold chain necklace, and gold Sole Bliss platform sandals. Hathaway, meanwhile, stepped out in a full Vaquera look: an off-the-shoulder top with voluminous sleeves and the brand’s “backwards” leather pants.

They traded color palettes for the evening’s premiere, with Hathaway in a scarlet leather Balenciaga dress and Streep in a custom Celine look with sharp trousers and a dramatic asymmetrical sleeve. She carried a custom bedazzled Judith Leiber clutch with the classic line “Gird Your Loins,” and polished the ensemble off with Fred Leighton diamonds.

Stopping in Shanghai, Hathaway went for a confectionary look, bringing the cotton candy drama in a Susan Fang gown covered in tulle flowers.

Streep, meanwhile, looked sleek in a Saint Laurent silk jacket tied with a black bow and accented with a diamond-covered brooch. She added very Anna Wintour-esque Saint Laurent sunglasses.

April 15

Hathaway pulled from the Versace archives for her solo turn on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” wearing a black fall 1991 minidress originally modeled by Naomi Campbell. She paired it with the brand’s towering Aevitas platform heels and dark sunglasses.

Ahead of the world premiere, Streep cycled through a series of looks for press stops around Manhattan.

First up was a pinstripe Dolce & Gabbana suit with Fred Leighton jewelry, Stuart Weitzman pumps, MyEyeDr. sunglasses and a Maison de Sabre bag. Her most Miranda-coded accessory? A custom Judith Leiber bedazzled coffee cup clutch, a nod to the scalding Starbucks latte the editor demands of her assistants every morning.

Later, she changed into head-to-toe red: a glossy Adam Lippes coat over a scarlet printed Gabriela Hearst dress with Dolce & Gabbana shoes, a coordinating Manu Atelier bag, Emmanuelle Khanh cat-eye sunglasses and Effy Jewelry gold hoops.

All-black tailoring was the name of the game at SiriusXM. Streep suited up in custom Celine, layering on a jumble of black leather belts accented with gold hardware. She completed the look with a Celine bag, Bared Footwear studded boots, Mejuri jewelry and MyEyeDr. sunglasses. Hathaway joined her on the show in coordinating Dries Van Noten.

On “Good Morning America,” Streep layered a cherry-red Nour Hammour coat over a striped LilySilk blouse and white Dissh trousers, finishing with Jimmy Choo pointed pumps, a Mulberry bag, a Déhanche belt, Mejuri jewelry and Lapima sunglasses.

On the red carpet at the NYC premiere, Hathaway wore a custom Louis Vuitton red satin tea-length gown by Nicolas Ghesquière with a bustier bodice, its pointed cups suggesting a pair of horns — the devil, quite literally, in the details. She accessorized with Bulgari earrings, a ruby ring and a diamond wrap bracelet.

Hathaway later changed into a second Louis Vuitton dress — this time a metallic mini — posing with screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna.

Streep, in full Miranda form, swept in wearing a dramatic Givenchy by Sarah Burton red leather cape with a tie at the neck and black leather opera gloves. She added oversized sunglasses, Stuart Weitzman pumps and David Yurman jewelry.

En route to the premiere, Streep was spotted in Gucci’s $48,000 tiger-print shearling coat — a style that’s made the rounds on Mariah Carey, Dua Lipa, Alix Earle and more — paired with the Italian house’s sunglasses, Fope jewelry and a Gucci clutch from Fashionphile.

April 22

For the UK premiere, Streep wore a red Prada satin car coat layered over a white scarf-neck blouse with Kwiat diamond shirt studs, black trousers and pointed red Prada pumps, finished with Fred Leighton jewels. She again carried a custom Judith Leiber clutch designed to resemble “The Book” — the Runway magazine mock-up Miranda’s assistants deliver to her townhouse every night (based on Wintour’s real-life editing process).

Hathaway made a dramatic entrance in a custom deep navy Atelier Versace velvet gown with a deconstructed tuxedo bodice, sheer boned panels and a thigh-high slit.

Later in the evening, Hathaway changed into a custom Louis Vuitton strapless gown for the “Night with Runway” gala. The gray-and-black striped strapless dress featured a tailored sweetheart bodice that gave way to a column skirt and floor-sweeping, bubble-hemmed peplum. She added Christian Louboutin heels and Bulgari High Jewelry, including a Serpenti necklace.

Streep went maximalist in a sapphire sequined Richard Quinn fall 2023 cocoon coat, styled with Sauer jewelry, Wolford fishnet tights and Emmanuelle Khanh cat-eye sunglasses.

April 23

Hathaway kept things polished for her morning radio appearance, stepping out in a gray Stella McCartney sweater and pencil skirt set with a faux fur peplum. She paired the look with burgundy Christian Louboutin So Kate suede pumps and a full lineup of Bulgari Serpenti jewelry and matching Serpenti sunglasses.
