Jennifer Lopez has become synonymous with her voluminous, bouncy curls in a stunning caramel hue, often seen performing on stage in a dazzling bodysuit. Her hair typically cascades past her mid-back, completing her signature superstar look.
However, that hitmaker traded her long locks in favour of a more natural, shorter look this week. In an Instagram post shared by her Office Romance co-star Tony Plana, Jennifer posed alongside Tony and Brett Goldstein. The singer wore an olive-hued sweater that featured a high neckline and fuzzy detailing with a matching silk skirt. The garment boasted a daring thigh-high slit.
All eyes were on Jennifer’s notably shorter hair that was cut to the center of her chest and left down in a sleek, straight style.
“What a pair. Working alongside Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein on Office Romance was a pure pleasure—two pros, two big hearts,” Tony captioned the post.
Suzie McGill, International Artistic Director at Rainbow Room International, spoke to us about the singer’s new look. “It’s great to see Jennifer change up her look. I am a great believer in trying something new, and I think that change can be good for everyone, ” she shared.
“Jennifer’s decision to opt for a shorter style is an effective way to create a youthful, flattering feel. Its’s a great way to add volume, create a real lifting effect and highlight individual features such as cheekbones and jawline. Sometimes, when the hair is overly long, it’s not always seen as the most youthful option. The length can over power facial features and draw attention to signs of ageing. To perfect Jennifer’s shorter style and keep things looking luxurious, it is about careful styling and using the correct products that are lightweight and right for the individual,” she added.

Office Romance is a new comedy that lands on Netflix on June 5. Written by Brett and Joe Kelly, the new movie is directed by Ol Parker and sees Jennifer star alongside Brett Goldstein and Edward James Olmos.
According to Netflix, the synopsis reads: “Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein lead a raunchy romantic comedy about a secret office romance and the trouble two workaholics get in when they start thinking with their hearts.”
