Zendaya and Tom Holland share intimate look as they make first red carpet appearance in 5 years

One of Hollywood’s most low-profile couples, Zendaya and Tom Holland, are back on the red carpet after a nearly five year hiatus. 

The Spider-Man co-stars and real-life couple have officially kicked off the press tour for their latest film collaboration, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with an ultra-rare joint appearance in Madrid – and they look as loved-up as ever. 

The actors, who are rumoured to have tied the knot earlier this year after previously confirming their engagement, shared a heartwarming look while posing for photos as a couple on 15 June. The stars looked every inch the stylish power couple as they arrived in coordinated black outfits for their overseas outing.

While Tom and Zendaya are not typically ones for PDA, they shared sweet glances and exchanged smiles on the red carpet. 

Tom had his arm wrapped around his partner’s waist, who looked as glamorous as always in a designer dress. At one point, photographers captured the pair holding hands from a distance.

Coordinated fashion moment

Zendaya’s long-time stylist Law Roach confirmed the actress wore a timeless little black dress courtesy of English fashion designer Christian Cowan. The flattering strapless mini dress hugged the star’s figure and featured a bow at the hip and an asymmetrical fringe hem, reminiscent of the flapper style. 

Zendaya teamed her red carpet look with matching black pointed-toe stilettos and sparkling dangle earrings from Stéfère, while opting for a sleek, wet-hair look with her dark chin-length locks slicked back with a single strand left out to perfectly frame her face. 

Meanwhile, Tom added a pop of Spider-Man red to his otherwise monochrome outfit. The actor wore a vibrant red dress shirt beneath a black jacket and matching trousers.

Last red carpet appearance

The notoriously private couple were pictured out in New York City in October 2024 and attended the Indian Wells Open earlier that year. 

While Zendaya made a solo red carpet appearance for the third season premiere of Euphoria in April, her last joint appearance with Tom was at the world premiere of their third Spider-Man film together, Spider-Man: No Way Home, in December 2021.

The pair first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and went on to confirm their relationship in 2021. After sparking engagement rumours when Zendaya was spotted with a sparkler on her ring finger at the Golden Globes in January 2025, Tom’s family confirmed the pair were engaged. The actor himself later referred to Zendaya as his “fiancée” during a panel event in September. 

Zendaya’s long-time collaborator Law Roach then seemed to drop a major bombshell at the 2026 Actor Awards in March when he told Access Hollywood that Tom and Zendaya’s wedding “has already happened”, adding, “you missed it”.
