Happy birthday, Sandra Bullock!
One of Hollywood’s most beloved stars celebrates her 62nd birthday on July 26, and amid all the fan tributes and private celebrations comes a loving tribute from her own sister.
Sandra’s younger sister Gesine Bullock-Prado, 56, took to her own Instagram page with a childhood photo of herself as a baby resting in her older sister’s arms.
Posing for a vintage sepia-toned glamor shot, a young Sandra, even missing her two front teeth, wore an adorable school dress, complete with her signature jet black locks down to her shoulders. But that face and that smile are unmistakable!
“Happy birthday to the best Schwester. Love you more, @sandrabullock,” Gesine sweetly captioned the snap, and fans were quickly just as enamored.
They responded with comments like: “I love this picture! Happy birthday Sandra!” and: “That’s so sweet! Happy birthday @sandrabullock you deserve nothing but the best, always. You’re an inspiration to us fans, may your day be special,” plus: “She looks Exactly the same. But the teeth [laughing emoji] Happy Bday @sandrabullock ! You’re loved all around the world!”
© InstagramThe Oscar-winning actress took some time away from the spotlight in the early 2020s after making the films The Lost City and Bullet Train, to devote more time to being a mother to her kids Louis, 16, and Laila, 12.
During that time, her longtime partner Bryan Randall was also diagnosed with ALS, passing away from the degenerative condition the following year.
However, after a period of mourning and healing, the actress announced her comeback with the upcoming Practical Magic sequel, set to hit theaters this September.
