It’s an exciting day for the royal family – Princess Anne’s son, Peter Phillips, and his beautiful bride-to-be, Harriet Sperling, married at All Saints Church, Kemble.
The royal family came out to watch the pair say “I do,” and none looked as delighted as Peter’s sister, Zara Tindall, who exuberated happiness as she watched her big brother marry NHS nurse Harriet.
Zara, 45, looked beautiful in a gorgeous outfit for the landmark occasion – a dazzling blue dress by one of her favourite designers, Rebecca Vallance. The wife of former England rugby player Mike Tindall looked elegant in her bold number, which featured elegant puff sleeves and a sleek, form-fitting silhouette.
The blonde mother-of-three wore her iconic mane in a chic updo, topped with a bespoke Camilla Rose headband. Zara carried an Anya Hindmarch handbag and finished her timeless look with high heels by Emmy London.
Zara has been a big part of the wedding; she attended the rehearsal dinner on Friday evening, dressing down in barrel jeans and a sleek high-necked jacket.
How did Peter and Harriet meet?
Harriet has a daughter named Georgina from a previous relationship, and is said to have met Peter at a sports event involving their respective children.
Princess Anne’s son and his girlfriend went public with their relationship in May 2024 at the Badminton Horse Trials in Gloucestershire. By August 2025, they were engaged, with the couple sharing the news exclusively with HELLO!, along with photos.
A statement was issued, which read: “Mr Peter Phillips, the son of HRH The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips, and Ms Harriet Sperling, daughter of the late Mr Rupert Sanders and Mrs Mary Sanders of Gloucestershire, have today confirmed their official engagement.
“Both families were informed jointly of the announcement and were delighted with the wonderful news of their engagement. Their Majesties The King and Queen, and The Prince and Princess of Wales have been informed of the announcement.” A friend of the couple previously told HELLO!: “Peter and Harriet’s wedding is an intimate occasion with their close friends and immediate family around them in the Cotswolds. It’s an area where they grew up and which is very special to them both.”
