Victoria Beckham puts unwavering loyalty from Geri Halliwell on full display after unexpected public reunion

Victoria Beckham has publicly shared her appreciation for her former bandmate Geri Halliwell’s enduring support amid the ongoing Beckham family feud. The Spice Girls stars once again proved that friendship never ends when Geri showed up to support Victoria’s son, Cruz, and his band The Breakers at their final London gig on Friday night.

Victoria commemorated the reunion with a smiling mid-concert selfie with Geri as the pair twinned in white shirts for the night. “Love you,” the fashion designer publicly declared after her bandmate showed up to cheer on Cruz’s milestone performance alongside Victoria’s husband David Beckham and two of their children, Romeo, 23, and Harper, 14. 

During the performance, a source at the event told HELLO! that Geri and Victoria sweetly wrapped their arms around each other and sang along to Cruz’s rendition of The Beatles’ ‘All You Need Is Love’.

Geri cheered on the performance alongside David, who also matched in white for the night. The former footballer posed for a photo with Victoria and Geri, which was shared on Instagram after the show. 

While Geri’s teen daughter Bluebell, 19, was also there to round off the family catch-up, Victoria and David’s eldest son, Brooklyn, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were noticeably absent.

Geri’s sweet message to Cruz

Geri joined the Beckhams backstage at the Courtyard Theatre in Shoreditch after the gig to celebrate Cruz wrapping up his debut UK tour. The Spice Girls singer posed for a photo alongside Cruz – and she clearly approved of the 21-year-old’s music as she gave him a five-star review on her Instagram Stories. 

Geri gushed that “this dude is a star” while Victoria replied to her bandmate’s praise with red heart emojis in the comments section. 

A source at the event told HELLO! that Geri was “super friendly, smiling and stopping to take selfies with whoever asked for one, and then slowly disappeared backstage with Bluebell before the show started.”

The unexpected Spice Girls reunion comes amid the Brooklyn Beckham’s estrangement from his family.  The eldest Beckham son addressed the year-long feud rumours of a feud with his family in a scathing social media post in January. Brooklyn made several bombshell claims about his family, including that his parents had tried to “ruin” his relationship with Nicola and that Victoria had “hijacked” his wedding first dance in 2022.
