Victoria Beckham will be turning 52 on Friday, and ahead of her birthday, the former Spice Girls singer had a major moment to celebrate.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the fashion mogul revealed that she had been named as one of TIME 100âs most influential people in the world. The post accompanied the star looking glam in a white shirt as she stared piercingly down the camera.
In her caption, Victoria wrote: âHonoured to be included in @timeâs annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world.â
Victoria is famously close with many members of the family who will no doubt be celebrating her, but the star is distant from her eldest son Brooklyn, with the aspiring chef laying some heavy allegations against his mother in a bombshell statement back in January.
Brooklynâs claims
Back in January, Brooklyn confirmed the presence of an ongoing feud within the Beckham family and stated that he had no intention to reconcile with his estranged family, many of whom he has now blocked on social media.
Among the issues he raised, the eldest Beckham child highlighted fake relationships and the need to always be present to celebrate family moments, even needing to cancel previously laid plans.
However, the star also had major words for his mother, who he accused of âhijackingâ his wedding to Nicola Peltz. âMy mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song,â he wrote.
âIn front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife, but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. Iâve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.â
He also addressed what had happened over rumours that Nicola and Victoria had clashed over the Transformers starâs wedding dress, explaining: âMy parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasnât stopped. My mum cancelled making Nicolaâs dress in the eleventh hour, despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.â
He added: âDuring the wedding planning, my mum went so far as to call me âevilâ because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra, and Nicolaâs Nanny at our table, because they both didnât have their husbands. Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours.â
Victoria is yet to address any of the allegations against her from Brooklyn.
