Craig Melvin scored some major dad points this week as he enjoyed a family day out watching the New York Knicks defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers in the basketball playoffs. The Today Showhost took to Instagram to share a sweet snap from the special day.

The selfie captured Craig posing alongside his wife, Lindsay Czarniak, and their two kids, Delano and Sybil, at the match. Craig smiled for the camera, dressed in a brown shirt, while his son, Delano, wore a gray sweater. Sybil was also dressed in a casual look that consisted of jeans and a gray hoodie. Lindsay looked stylish in a leather jacket and simple tee.

“Playoff basketball at the Garden just hits different. Took the family to Madison Square Garden last night to watch the Knicks take down Cleveland. The energy, the crowd, the memories
unforgettable. New York showed out! #Knicks #NYC #MSG,” penned Craig in the caption.

In an interview on The Pivot podcast, the news anchor opened up about the “sacrifices” he’s made for his job on the Today Show. “I’ve done morning television for a long time,” he shared. “People who are really good at something, you’re sacrificing time, sacrificing money, you’re sacrificing relationships. We’re all sacrificing something. For me, I had to make peace with what I was sacrificing.”
