Your ‘big day’ and ‘happiest occasion’ is meant to be cause for excitement, but promises of eternity might pale in comparison when a few million dollars can guarantee a private concert as part of the celebrations. From pop icons to world-famous DJs, your guests certainly wouldn’t be short on entertainment with the best seats in the house for a show worthy of the O2. The only danger would be racing to get to the front row in a train and veil.

We’ve all witnessed a couple slow dancing to ‘Candle in the Wind’ but how would it feel to do so with Elton John in the room? The wedding go-to has performed live for billionaire Robert Kraft and Dana Blumberg as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. 

Elton is worth an eye-watering estimated $650 million, reportedly charing £1 million an hour for private performances and supposedly since upping his fees to £4 million, per The Mirror.

Producer and songwriter Mark Ronson has DJed for a number of celebrities, including Tom Cruise. But Mark himself saw the opportunity to perform for former Beatle Paul McCartney as priceless, where instead of a fee, Ronson asked McCartney to contribute a bass part to his upcoming album.

Legendary singer Usher provided a star performance for NBA player Michael Jordan’s wedding in 2013

NBA favourite Michael Jordan booked some serious star power for his wedding to model Yvette Prieto in 2013. With a guest list including Tiger Woods, Spike Lee and Patrick Ewing, it’s clear the wedding singer needed to bring his A-game.

Who else, then, to provide star entertainment than A-list singer Usher? The exact fee Usher got to perform at the NBA legend’s wedding has never been publicly disclosed, though the entire lavish affair cost an estimated $10 million.
