Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s jaw-dropping wedding bill revealed

Esther Lee, editorial director at The Knot Worldwide, shared with Page Six that the wedding likely racked up an eye-popping bill, costing 1000 times the price of a normal wedding in the US.

“While the average American wedding sits at $34,000, according to The Knot Real Weddings Study, this production would’ve operated on a completely different scale,” she said. 

The expert estimated that between $5 and $10 million was spent on securing the venue and transforming it with truckloads of infrastructure and crews of people. 

“For a high-profile celebrity wedding, privacy and logistics are more likely to dictate the first stages of planning,” Esther explained. 

“For Taylor and Travis, that meant finding an environment that allowed for total street closures and direct, private vehicle access, which is why Madison Square Garden was a prime choice for the couple on this momentous occasion.”

“We estimate the decor and florals to be, at minimum, $5 million,” she continued. “Not to forget that custom draping and carpet installation had to transform the space entirely.”

As for catering fees and guest logistics, Esther shared that the cost likely came to somewhere between $2.5 million and $3 million. 

Their custom wedding looks, created by fashion house Christian Dior, would have added another $2 million on top. 

Taylor’s publicist, Tree Paine, shared more details about their wedding attire in a statement released after the wedding. 

“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture,” the statement read. “They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom.”

“This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.” 

Other aspects of the wedding that would’ve broken the bank of lesser stars were the lavish customized gifts and the wedding raffle that gave away prizes like designer handbags, Cartier watches and even a vintage convertible. 

“We estimate the total cost sits in the $20 million to $30 million range, cementing it as a massive economic engine for the local NY economy and broader wedding industry at large,” Esther concluded. 

Other media outlets have reported that the security fees for the special day could have cost up to $2 million. 

As for entertainment, legendary singer Stevie Nicks was said to have performed at the wedding, and usually demands $2 million to be booked for an event.

Sir Paul McCartney also performed at the star-studded reception, and commands an eye-watering booking fee too; however, the famous pair are close friends with Taylor and may have performed as a gift to the couple. 

To add to their array of expenses, Taylor and Travis sweetly donated $26 million to more than 20 charities ahead of their wedding, including Food Bank for NYC, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and Grammy In The Schools. 

The “Cruel Summer” singer is worth a whopping $2.1 billion, while her new husband has a net worth of around $100 million.
