Meet the real life grown-up children of The Flintstones cast – including John Goodman’s daughter who followed in his footsteps

The Flintstones is a culturally beloved series that began in the 1960s. In 1994, the prehistoric family was the center of a live-action film starring actors John Goodman, Elizabeth Perkins, Rick Moranis, and Rosie O’Donnell.

Molly is John’s only child

Molly Evangeline Goodman

John Goodman, who starred as Fred Flintstone in the film, and his wife Anna Beth Hartzog welcomed their daughter Molly Evangeline Goodman in 1990. She went on to follow her dad into Hollywood.

According to IMDB, Molly works as a production assistant and designer, working on the sets of shows and films like New Girl, The Last Tycoon, and Aquarius. Outside of her career, Molly is rather private. She attended John’s ceremony for his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2017, but keeps a low profile.

Elizabeth Perkins starred as Wilma Flintstone in the ’90s hit. And just three years before The Flintstones premiered, she welcomed her daughter Hannah Jo Phillips with her then partner Maurice Phillips.

Like her mom, Hannah, 34, is an actress. She is set to appear in the upcoming short film, The Barbarian.

Rachel doesn’t have much of a public persona, rather channels her energy into Stardust

Comedian Rick Moranis portrayed Barney Rubble in The Flintstones, just a few years after he tragically lost his wife, Ann Belsky, to breast cancer. The couple shared two children, Rachel and Mitchell Moranis.

While she is rather private, Rick’s daughter Rachel is the founder of Stardust, a “women-founded, women-built cycle tracking app that helps you explore your hormonal health universe,” according to their website.

Mitchell Moranis

As a kid, Rachel’s younger brother Mitchell was toted around to his dad’s red carpets. But as an adult, he lives a very private life outside of the spotlight.

Parker chose not to move to Ireland with his mom

Legendary comedian Rosie O’Donnell, who starred as Betty Rubble in The Flintstones, is a mom-of-five kids. She adopted her oldest child, Parker Jaren O’Donnell, after he was born on May 25, 1995.

He followed his mom’s lead and graduated from the Los Angeles Film School in January 2025, writing in a since-deleted Instagram post: “Thank you to all my instructors and advisors who helped me finish my degree. Thanks to my family for helping me have the opportunity to complete my higher education.”

Rosie visited her oldest daughter while she served time in prison

A few years after Parker was born, Rosie and her then wife Kelli Carpenter, adopted their daughter Chelsea, who was born on September 20, 1997. Throughout Chelsea’s young adult years, she was estranged from Rosie.

But in 2018, after she gave birth to her first daughter Skylar Rose, she reunited with her adopted mother. Chelsea went on to have three more children – Riley, Avery, and Atlas. In 2024, she was arrested three times on multiple felony charges, including neglecting a child and possession of methamphetamine and went on to serve time in prison.

On December 5, 1999, Rosie and Kelli welcomed Blake Christopher O’Donnell, their third child via adoption. While he didn’t follow in his mom’s footsteps, Blake has remained close to Rosie.

In December 2022, he got engaged to Teresa Garofalow Westervelt during a Broadway performance of Phantom of the Opera, with his mom nearby in the audience. The couple tied the knot on August 16, 2024 and welcomed their son Anthony Joel O’Donnell in March 2026.

Vivienne and her mom became obsessed with TikTok during the COVID-19 pandemic

Rosie and Kelli adopted their fourth child, Vivienne Rose O’Donnell, after she was born on November 29, 2002. The 23-year-old graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in public relations and advertising in 2025, and is now living in New York City working as a production assistant at Red Green Blue, per her LinkedIn.

Clay uses they/them pronouns

Clay O’Donnell

The comedian and her first wife divorced in 2004. In 2012, Rosie married Michelle Rounds and adopted their child Clay less than a year later. The couple divorced in 2015, and two years later, Michelle tragically died by suicide.

In 2022, Rosie announced that their child Clay was diagnosed with autism, writing to Instagram: “I am learning to have compassion much deeper than I ever did.” Three years later, the actress announced she and Clay were moving to Ireland, due to the reelection of President Donald Trump.
