Leave it to Kate Middleton to give beer pong the royal treatment.
Fellow royal Mike Tindall revealed the popular drinking game is Middletonâs favorite, but she replaces the beer with prosecco for a classy twist.
âI knew that the Princess of Wales was uber competitive because Iâd seen her play a drinking game called beer pong, but normally we play prosecco pong! She still plays it with us,â Mike, who is married to Prince Williamâs cousin Zara Tindall, claimed in a new interview with Woman & Home.
âSport is rife throughout the family â everyone is competitive,â he added of the royal clan.
Mike previously teased Middleton about her love of beer pong on his âThe Good, The Bad & The Rugbyâ podcast back in 2023.
âIâm not going to say youâre uber competitive,â he said before pausing to give a nod indicating she really is.
âIâm not competitive at all,â Middleton coyly replied.
âIâve seen her play beer pong!â Mike quipped.
While she might still enjoy a game of prosecco pong from time to time, the princess has previously spoken about cutting back on alcohol following her cancer diagnosis.
During her and Williamâs visit to the Southwark Brewing Company in London back in March, Middleton said, âSince my diagnosis, I havenât had much alcohol. Itâs something I have to be a lot more conscious of now,â per The Sunâs royal editor, Matt Wilkinson.
After going public with her diagnosis in March 2024, Middleton, 44, was able to return to many of her normal activities â like going to the gym â by that November after completing her chemotherapy treatments.
âFrom what I understand, Catherine is doing very well,â royal author Robert Jobson, who referred to the Princess of Wales by her birth name, told Hello! at the time. âShe is back training at the gym and doing all the things she wanted to do.â
In January 2025, she shared that she was in remission.
Last week, William gave an emotional update on his wifeâs recovery from her cancer battle following her solo trip to Italy.
âIâm so proud â incredibly proud,â the Prince of Wales gushed in an interview with âHeart Breakfastâ hosts Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden. âSheâs been amazing.â
âSheâs been through so much in the last couple of years, particularly. And yeah, sheâd been looking forward to the Italian trip a lot,â he said. âAnd so Iâm really glad it went really well.â
William also raved about how sheâs been with him and their three kids: Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8.
âSheâs an amazing mum, an amazing wife, and, literally, our family couldnât cope without her,â he said, âso, sheâs been absolutely stunning, brilliant.â
