Mia Thornton is pushing back against accusations that she Photoshopped her face onto influencer Sophie O’Neill’s body in a now-deleted Instagram post.
“Two seasons off Potomac… Y’all still talking about me. I’m busy adding 000’s to my bottom line with AI. We are not the same. 💋 #therealdeal #bornentertainer,” the former Real Housewives of Potomac star, 41, captioned her latest upload on Thursday, June 25, including a series of new pics before responding to a social media user calling her out about the rumored editing faux pas.
“Mia do you, but please don’t steal that ladies body anymore mmmkay 🤭🙌🏽,” the commenter wrote, to which Thornton replied, “She cute tho. And we got her her 20 seconds of fame. So mission accomplished. Y’all did your big one!”
Thornton spoke out amid online comparisons to a since-scrubbed image of her wearing a fitted white dress with a deep neckline and holding a matching handbag while striking a seemingly identical pose to a September 2025 photo previously shared by O’Neill — who also entered the chat.
“@mrsmiathornton — super imposing yourself onto my picture. The world is a very scary place these days — this is just sad,” the social media personality wrote. “Please can you remove the picture of ME with your head on it. Thanks.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Thornton for comment.
Amid the backlash online, Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge hopped on a new trend — which saw other social media users editing their faces onto the white dress photo.
Judge, 58, captioned her photo, “Completely untouched. Definitely not AI. 😌”
According to Daily Mail, Thornton also seemingly squashed the editing rumors by posting a separate image in the same outfit from a different setting, this time showing herself seated in a restaurant booth.
“Never needed clout,” she captioned the photo. “My name carries enough weight on its own.”
The Bravolebrity also wrote, “Let me guess, what’s her name has a photo sitting down inside the restaurant too.”
