It’s turning out to already be a magical fall, with the cast of Practical Magic 2 ensuring just that.
The cast of the highly anticipated sequel to the 1998 cult classic has arrived in London for the European premiere at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on August 26, and they’re bringing the glam with them.

Nicole Kidman, who plays Sally’s younger sister Gillian Owens, went with a much lighter and brighter look to match her character.
The star, 59, went with a silver sequin-covered gown with chain detailing adorning its own structured top, plus another thigh-high slit. Nicole abandoned the jewelry to show off her honey blonde locks, styled sleek and with a sideswept bang.

Joey King, who plays Sally’s elder daughter Kylie Owens, went with a light and flowy sheer beige dress covered in white floral appliqués, paired with nude undergarments and her auburn hair styled in waves.
Maisie Williams, playing Sally’s younger daughter Antonia Owens, opted for a floor-length satin dress in two shades of red, pairing her top with a tied skirt, and accessorizing with a diamond and ruby choker necklace.

Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest, who play Francis and Bridget Owens, Sally and Gillian’s aunts, also stole the show on the red carpet.
Stockard went with a navy blue velvet suit paired with a white blouse, while Dianne was dressed in a black pleated maxi dress with spaghetti straps, wearing sunglasses to frame her blonde pixie cut.

Practical Magic 2, which hits theaters on September 10, also stars Lee Pace, Xolo Maridueña and Solly McLeod, and in particular represents a comeback for Sandra, who hasn’t appeared in a movie since 2022.
In that time, she took a break from the screen to care for her family, especially after her longtime partner Bryan Randall had been diagnosed with ALS. Bryan passed away in 2023 from his disease.

During an appearance at the CNBC Changemakers Summit earlier this year, the actress, who is a mom to kids Laila and Louis, noted that even with her comeback, her kids remain her priority, which was a key factor while filming Practical Magic 2 over the summer.
“I’m not going to sacrifice my time with my kids,” she said during a panel. “They’d be happy if I was gone, I would not.” She continued: “I do not do my best work if my children are struggling or if they need something and I can’t facilitate it. I’m raising my children, not anybody else.”
