Everyone in the UK is navigating the heatwave right now, including the royal family. Princess Beatrice looked to have weather-appropriate dressing nailed down to a fine art as she was spotted in London on Friday.
The red-haired royal looked cool, calm, and collected as she was pictured getting into a waiting car. Carrying a large, slouchy bag, the royal had her famous mane clipped back, with minimal makeup highlighting her pretty features.

Opting for a fabulous dress by Cefinn, Beatrice chose the now-defunct brand’s ‘Alice’ design, which is a relaxed, cotton-poplin style that comes complete with a belt at the waist.
Wearing cotton in the heatwave is the key to keeping cool
Wearing cotton, like Beatrice, in the heatwave, is one of the best fashion hacks to remember. “Cotton is lightweight, soft on the skin, and allows the air to circulate, which helps to keep you cool and comfortable on super hot days,” fashion designer at Spirit & Grace, Emily Holmes Naden, tells HELLO!.
Cefinn is the fashion brand founded by Lady Cameron, former Prime Minister David Cameron’s wife. Her womenswear label was established in 2017, one year after her husband stepped down from his role as PM.
The brand was an instant big hit with shoppers, with dresses being the most coveted item. Tailoring was a big outlet in the design of her clothes, and in a passage online, the brand remarked: “Our goal is to ensure that you look and feel great from work to weekend, desk to dinner, and at those unforgettable special occasions.”
Sadly, in 2025, Samantha was forced to close her fashion label after eight years. In a post on Instagram, she said at the time: “Dearest followers, I would like to let you know that after eight amazing years of entrepreneurial highs and lows, I will not be presenting a spring/summer 2026 collection in the new year. As a result of this, I have begun the process of winding down the future operations at my fashion brand Cefinn.”
Despite the company closing its doors, the fashion label certainly had the royal stamp of approval. As well as Beatrice donning its items, her royal relative, the Princess of Wales, wore the label on a handful of occasions, as did her mother, Carole Middleton.
