Monica Bellucci brought effortless glamour to the French Basque coast as she attended the Nouvelles Vagues International Biarritz Film Festival. The Italian actress, 61, was among a starry line-up at the event, which celebrates youth, emerging talent and bold new voices in cinema. Kristen Stewart was also on hand as jury president, while Marion Cotillard, Isabelle Huppert and several rising stars made stylish appearances throughout the festival.

Former Bond girl Monica ensured all eyes were on her as she stepped out in a glamorous black wrap-style dress with a daring thigh-high split. The Malèna star teamed the flowing, long-sleeved gown with towering black platform heels, dark sunglasses and a structured mini handbag.

Kristen gave a signature rebellious spin to Chanel at the festival, pairing a black bralette with a textured grey-and-black tweed jacket and matching skirt. The Twilight star added chunky black loafers and a wet-look hairstyle to the statement look. Kristen was in Biarritz not only as president of the international jury, but also to introduce her directorial debut The Chronology of Water, starring Imogen Poots, Thora Birch, Jim Belushi and Tom Sturridge.
