Patrick Muldoon gushed over a future project in his heartbreaking final Instagram post.
The âMelrose Placeâ alum, who suffered a fatal heart attack over the weekend, shared a screenshot of a Deadline story Friday highlighting Chris Hemsworthâs âKockroachâ casting.
âSo excited to be a part of this amazing project KOCKROACH directed by Matt Ross starring Chris Hemsworth, Taron Edgerton, Zazzie Beetz and Alec Baldwin,â Muldoon told his followers.
He noted that the movie was âfilming now in Australia.â
Two days later, the âDays of Our Livesâ alum was pronounced dead at the scene in his Beverly Hills, California, residence.
The actor was 57 years old.
He spent Sunday morning at home with his partner, Miriam Rothbart, before going to take a shower, according to TMZ.
When Rothbart went looking for Muldoon, she found him unconscious on the bathroom floor.
The previous weekend, Muldoon looked happy and healthy celebrating Easter with âfamily table jam.â
He posted an Instagram video of himself playing the guitar and singing before the holiday meal.
Muldoon, notably, was the lead singer for the Sleeping Masses band prior to his passing.
In addition to Rothbart, Muldoon is survived by his parents, Deanna Muldoon and Patrick Muldoon Sr., as well as his sister and brother-in-law, Shana and Ahmet Zappa; and their children.
Muldoonâs career began in 1990 with two episodes of âWhoâs the Boss?â followed by a recurring role on âSaved By the Bell.â
He is best known for his role as Austin Reed on âDays of Our Livesâ from 1992 and 1995 and then from 2011 to 2012, with him playing Richard Hart on âMelrose Placeâ during the hiatus.
