Meghan Markle has had a busy few weeks! The 44-year-old has travelled with her family to Portugal and the UK, sharing a plethora of images of the foursome enjoying some much-needed downtime.
On Sunday evening, Meghan shared a picture on her Instagram Story of herself seemingly back in Montecito. This was given away by the palm trees at the back of the photograph and the sunny weather.
The mother-of-two looked to be enjoying a garden at a garden centre, stocking up on potted blooms and stacking them in a trolley.
We loved her stunning, dressed-down outfit, which included a classic array of items. According to royal style account What Meghan Wore, the brunette beauty donned a sweater by J.Crew, Anine Bing jeans and Veronica Beard loafers.
Interestingly, Meghan wore her raven tresses pulled back into a ponytail, with a headband by DÔEN to pull the strands away from her face.
Meghan’s headband debut
Prince Harry’s wife debuted her very first headband back in March 2026. Taking to Instagram, she shared a gloriously idyllic video of herself arranging beautiful pink flowers in a vase.
Meghan looked elegant and ladylike in the footage, which showed her wearing a sleek rollneck.
The US-born star wore a variety of headpieces during her time as a working royal, but a headband was not an accessory she reached for. Meghan is known for her laid-back, California-style, so some say this accessory was a surprising choice for her.
Princess Kate: The headband queen
The Princess of Wales has a vast collection of headbands. Prince William’s wife has an array of the humble hair accessory in a myriad of colours. Her sensational headband collection has helped put the somewhat traditional style on the map again, and it’s now considered a chic addition to any outfit.
Although some of the royal’s headbands cost over £900, like the Jane Taylor appliqué creation she donned at her youngest son Prince Louis’ christening in 2018, she has worn one that has a purse-friendlier price tag.
In 2020, during a three-day royal visit to Ireland, Kate dressed in green for her first day of the trip, and sported a black velvet headband by Lele Sadoughi. The classic style cost around £70 at the time of purchase.
