The NBA has fans worldwide, but none are as supportive as the children of some of the league’s top players.

Whether they’re supporting on the sidelines or at home, the likes of Steph Curry, Luka Dončić, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and more get the biggest cheers from their families.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James doesn’t even have to look far for his support network, as his son, Bronny, became his teammate in 2024, making them the first father-son duo ever to play in the NBA at the same time, let alone on the same team.

Meet some of the children of the NBA’s biggest stars below.

Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić has two daughters with his former fiancée, Anamaria Goltes. Gabriela was born in 2023, and Olivia followed two years later in December 2025.

In March 2026, he revealed to ESPN that he and Anamaria had parted ways. “I love my daughters more than anything and I’ve been doing everything I can for them to be with me in the U.S. during the season, but that hasn’t been possible, so I recently made the tough decision to end my engagement,” he told the outlet.

“Everything I do is for my daughters’ happiness and I will always fight to be with them and give them the best life I can.”

Golden State Warriors star Stephen ‘Steph’ Curry has four kids with his wife, Ayesha Curry.

Daughter Riley was born on July 19, 2012, followed by daughter Ryan on July 10, 2015, and sons Canon and Caius were born on July 2, 2018, and May 11, 2024, respectively.

Steph admitted in 2023 that he isn’t focused on his kids following in his athletic footsteps just yet. “We’re all backyard sports right now,” he told People. “Nothing too organized. We’ve got plenty of time. It’s more just confidence-building and their ability to find joy in everything they do.”

Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James has three children with his wife, Savannah James. LeBron ‘Bronny’ James Jr. was born on October 6, 2004. Bryce joined the family on June 14, 2007, and the couple’s only daughter, Zhuri Nova James, was born on October 22, 2014.

“My daughter is the greatest thing in my life, along with my boys,” he told Access Hollywood in 2021. “So, whenever she smiles, it don’t matter what I’m doing, it makes me happy.”

Bronny has followed in his dad’s footsteps, and the duo made history in June 2024 when he was drafted by the Lakers as the 55th overall pick, marking the first time a father-son duo would play in the NBA simultaneously, and even more remarkably, as teammates.

They played their first game as teammates in October 2024, a moment which LeBron said meant “everything” to him.

“For someone who didn’t have that growing up, to be able to have that influence on your kids and have influence on your son, be able to have moments with your son, and ultimately to be able to work with your son, I think that’s one of the greatest things that a father can ever hope for or wish for,” he told ESPN.

Oklahoma City Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander became a dad in April 2024 when his wife, Hailey Summers, gave birth to their son, Ares.

Shai revealed last October that becoming a dad has changed the outlook of his career, telling GQ that he plans to stop playing before his 40s. “I won’t want to miss that much of my kid’s life,” he said. “I won’t want to be away and miss his first basketball game every year, his first soccer game, football game, piano lesson, chess lesson, whatever it is.”

New York Knicks captain Jalen Brunson shares daughter Jordyn, born on July 31, 2024, with his high-school sweetheart wife, Ali.

Ali revealed in February that she is selective about the games she will bring Jordyn to, but makes sure their daughter is present for her dad’s big moments, like when he was named captain of the team in 2024.

“He had a whole ceremony for it. I think I was one week postpartum, and we came with Jordyn for it. She was hiding in the back,” Ali told People. “She came out to celebrate for just a second, and then we went back home. I didn’t want her to miss it.”

Detroit Pistons’ Cade Cunningham grew up fast when he became a dad during his senior year of high school in 2018, and his biggest “motivation” to succeed on and off the court is his daughter, Riley, born on December 29, 2018.

“She’s everything,” Cade previously told Forbes. “I don’t know, she’s like a bundle of happiness in a two-year-old body. It’s not enough words, really, that’s my daughter. She’s everything right now, she’s my motivation and all that.”

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is a dad of four. He and his wife, Mariah Riddlesprigger, have sons Liam, born February 10, 2020, and Maverick, born August 18, 2021, and daughters Eva, born September 14, 2023, and Aria, born May 2025.

Giannis rarely shares photos of his children on social media, but shortly after Aria’s birth, he told People:  “I wouldn’t change it for anything. Both mom and baby are healthy and doing well, so it really is a blessing and we’re just enjoying the time being parents to our four kids.”

Revealing how his eldest children reacted to their new sibling, he added: “Liam and Maverick are already great big brothers to Eva, and they’re very protective too. I think Eva is just happy to have another person to play with. I love watching all of their bonds grow little by little every day. It’s special.”
