Maren Morris and fellow country singer Cassadee Pope appeared to have hard launched their relationship on Instagram.
Pope shared a steamy pic of her kissing Morris on her Instagram Stories Tuesday, with the caption, âShe wonât go out with you because sheâs out with me, silly @marenmorris.â
In the close-up pic Pope posted, she holds Morrisâ face as they passionately lock lips.
âThe Voiceâ alum, 36, later posted a snap of âThe Middleâ singer, also 36, wrapping her arms around her.
Pope captioned the pic, âTrying to get bb to move here, everyone help.â
Morris attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelceâs star-studded wedding Friday at Madison Square Garden Friday in NYC, but Pope was not her date. Instead, the singer hung out with fellow country stars Miranda Lambert and Kelsea Ballerini.
She was previously married to singer Ryan Hurd, but the two split in October 2023 after five years of marriage. They share their 6-year-old son, Hayes, together.
Morris came out as bisexual in June 2024, four months after she finalized her divorce from Hurd, 38.
She wrote on Instagram at the time, âHappy to be the B in LGBTQ+, happy pride đ,â alongside pics of her proudly waving a Pride flag.
In April, she detailed her first relationship with a woman, which was far from a positive experience.
âI briefly was seeing a woman and I was not looking for anything serious,â she revealed in a TikTok video.
âIâm not kidding, within like, three weeks of this completely falling apart, it was lies, threats to my reputation and borderline extortion,â she continued.
The Grammy winner noted she was âjust really cool being aloneâ after the fling.
âIt was pretty fâked up. And for that to be my first experience, it was just so depressing,â she said.
As for Pope, she was previously engaged to All Time Low drummer Rian Dawson, but the two called it quits in July 2017 after more than seven years together. She went on to date British actor Sam Palladio, but the two broke up in 2024.
Sheâs expressed support for the LGBTQ community in the past. In March 2024, the singer shared with fans in an Instagram video that sheâs able to perform marriage ceremonies for same-sex couples after she said that Tennessee â where she lives â âpassed a bill that allows public officials to not marry couples at their discretion.â
âObviously this is an attack on same-sex couples,â she said.
She continued, âIn 2020, I got really bored and became ordained. So if you run into any issues, Iâd love to help you out.â
She added in the caption, âI now pronounce you whatever the hell you want.â
