Summer House star Kyle Cooke is single and slowly getting ready to mingle.
Following Kyle’s public split from Amanda Batula, a source exclusively shared with Us Weekly that the Bravo star is not ready for anything serious and is just “doing his thing.”
At this point, the insider claimed, Kyle, 43, is ready to start “putting himself out there” and just wants to have a good time.
“Kyle has been flirting with different women on his nights out,” the source continued. “Nothing over the top, just easing his way back into the scene.”
It certainly appeared to be the case last week when Kyle was photographed kissing former Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King on the streets of New York City.
After meeting at Page Six’s ’90s-themed party at Temple Bar on Thursday, April 16, the duo headed to Bar Bianchi, where they stayed until around 1 a.m.
While the PDA certainly grabbed the attention of fans, the source said Kyle’s kiss with Meghan, 41, was “random” and “nothing.”
Us has reached out to Kyle’s team for comment.
It’s been a month of surprises for the Loverboy founder as season 10 of Summer House continues to air. At the end of March, Amanda, 34, confirmed she was dating costar West Wilson after her split from Kyle.
“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it,” the duo shared in a joint statement on March 31. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
More recently, Amanda and West, 31, took their relationship to the New York Yankees baseball game. At one point, the couple packed on the PDA when the stadium’s Kiss Cam panned to their seats.
“Was not prepared to see that,” Kyle wrote via Threads on Saturday, April 18, responding to the Summer House chain. “And that. And that 🤢.”
Although fans have been passionate with their opinions regarding West and Amanda’s new relationship, Kyle has been able to reunite with his estranged wife.
He also publicly asked viewers to be kind as they navigate a new chapter of their relationship.
“I’m giving Amanda grace just because I know she — just from a mental standpoint — is fragile,” Kyle said in an April 2 TikTok interview with Adam Glyn. “I don’t think West is in a place to offer her what she needs. I’ve been caring and providing for her for 10 years. It’s a weird position to find myself in.”
