Michael Consuelos looked just like his dad, Mark Consuelos, as he snapped a candid photo in a suave, tailored burgundy suit, a blue button-down, and white sneakers.Â
The producer was pictured buttoning up his jacket while standing under a stone archway, and appeared not to be paying attention to the camera. âOkay, youâll tell me when youâre taking the picture, right?â he quipped in the caption, as his friends and fans took to the comment section to share the love.
âBro looking fresh,â said one, while another added: âNailed it,â and a third chimed in: âNice fit.â Michael, who is the eldest son of Mark and his wife, Kelly Ripa, recently returned to social media after a lengthy hiatus to show his support for his brother, Joaquin Consuelos, for his Broadway debut in Death of a Salesman in March.Â
âIâve never been prouder. @joaquinconsuelos was a powerhouse!â he wrote alongside a photo of the cast list with his brotherâs name front and center. Michael is also an actor and graduated from NYUâs Tisch School of the Arts in 2020, before working as a producer on The Real Housewives and Summer House franchises.Â
The aspiring star struggled to find a job after graduating from college due to the onset of the pandemic, as Kelly shared on an episode of Live with Kelly and Mark. âAdulting is hard nowadays. Itâs very hard for kids. Job opportunities arenât what they were. The economy is driving this trend,â she explained.
âI know that Michael graduated college in May of 2020, and he had a writing job lined up, which evaporated because the pandemic shut down the production, and it just never came back. So, you know, we gave him a grace period of an additional year to find other job opportunities because itâs hard.â
Michael and his family were rocked by devastating family news in March when Markâs father, Saul Consuelos, passed away following a lengthy health battle. âMy father passed away peacefully surrounded by family and love,â Mark said on Live.Â

âHe came here from Mexico in his early teens, he immigrated here from Mexico. He served his country for 30 years. Ended up at Special Operations Command in Tampa. This young kid from Mexico just got his education from the Navy. Was always going to school. Was brilliant. Got his masterâs while I was a kid.â
âHe loved his country so much,â the Riverdale actor added. âIf youâre going to put a face to an immigrant, he would be the prime example of what this country promises people.âÂ
Kelly shared that Michael and his siblings, Lola and Joaquin, were taking Saulâs loss particularly hard.Â
âThis is the first loss theyâve ever experienced in their lives. And I said, âBy the time I was eight, I had no grandparents. You got to grow up [with grandparents]. You got to have deep, meaningful conversations [with them],'â she said on the show.Â
âI can honestly say I will miss him every day for the rest of my life, as I know you will, as our children will.â
