Britney Spears was spotted shopping at a liquor store with a friend before allegedly causing a scene at a Los Angeles restaurant Wednesday night.
Surveillance footage obtained by the Daily Mail Thursday showed the Grammy winner jumping out of a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon and heading into Wines of the World in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Spears walked around the store and appeared in good spirits as she and her pal headed to the fridge sections.
The âGimme Moreâ singerâs friend grabbed a canned beverage before making his way to the front to pay.
Meanwhile Spears, 44, aimlessly wandered around the store.
The pop star then met her pal at the cashier counter and tossed a pack of gum on the counter before he paid.
A rep for Spears wasnât immediately available to Page Six for comment.
The âToxicâ songstress went to the store before allegedly âraising her voice, screaming and even barking at timesâ while with two friends at the Blue Dog Tavern in Sherman Oaks, TMZ reported.
A restaurant guest alleged that Spears was walking around holding a knife and lit up a cigarette inside.
However, a rep for Spears said the incident was âcompletely blown out of proportion,â telling Page Six, âBritney was enjoying a quiet dinner with her assistant and bodyguard.â
âShe was simply telling the story about how her dog was barking at the neighbors,â the spokesperson continued.
Spearsâ rep also denied âput anyone in danger with a knifeâ and insisted she had used it to cut her burger.
The âCircusâ singerâs outing with friends comes after she wrapped up her rehab stay last month.
Spears had checked herself into treatment following her DUI arrest in March.
Earlier this month, Spearsâ attorney appeared in court on her behalf and entered a guilty plea in her DUI case.
At the hearing, the attorney accepted a deal for a weaker âwet recklessâ charge â which is typical in reckless driving with alcohol or drugs cases involving first-time offenders, low blood alcohol levels and no crash or injuries.
The presiding judge in Spearsâ case ordered the pop star to a one-year informal probationary grant and to complete a three-month alcohol school.
