Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck reunited on May 26 to accompany their daughter Violet to an urgent care clinic in Los Angeles. The 20-year-old was photographed limping and leaning on her parents for support as they entered the hospital.
The actress shares three children ā Violet, Finn, and Samuel ā with her ex-husband, Ben. The couple, who tied the knot back in 2005, divorced in 2018. However, Jennifer and Ben have managed to maintain a strong relationship when it comes to co-parenting their kids.
Violetās stance on face masks
Violet is currently studying at Yale University and is passionate about climate change advocacy. Back in September 2025, Violet delivered an emotional speech at the United Nations advocating for clean air and the use of masks to help prevent the spread of long COVID-19. Violet has long been an advocate for public health and addressed the UN while wearing a K95 mask. āWe are told by leaders across the board that we are the future,ā she said. āBut when it comes to the ongoing pandemic, our present is being stolen right in front of our eyes.āĀ
Violet called out adults for āthe relentless beat of back to normal, ignoring downplaying, and concealing both the prevalence of airborne transmission and the threat of long COVID.ā
Co-parenting
Jennifer previously opened up about the challenges of co-parenting her three children with her ex-husband during an appearance on Bustleās One Nightstand YouTube series. The mother-of-three admitted that she provides āa bit of bothā when it comes to raising her kids with a āconscientious upbringingā and āappreciationā.
āAnd I think my kidsā dad does too. Especially when your kids grow up in two separate households, I become mom and dad and he becomes dad and mom,ā she shared. āYou kind of canāt help it, right? Because you donāt have the benefit of both sides of the yin and yang being in the same house.ā
Jennifer continued: āThereās a little bit of loss in that, but thereās also something gained in that. You also just learn. Itās made me let go and not focus so much on bringing up.ā
