From medicine woman to married woman.
Jane Seymour confirmed she is engaged to John Zambetti after three years of dating.
âSomeone decided they wanted to be with me for the rest of their lives. My singer-songwriter,â the âDr. Quinn, Medicine Womanâ star gushed to Us Weekly at the Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Thursday.
Seymour, 75, showed off her engagement ring, adding that she is âvery excitedâ about blending her and 78-year-old Zambettiâs families due to their passion for music.
âWeâve been together three years now,â Seymour continued. âAnd thereâs nothing but music in my house. Heâs a singer-songwriter. His son is a singer-songwriter. My son is a singer-songwriter.â
Seymour was previously married to theater director Michael Attenborough from 1971 to 1973, author Geoffrey Planer from 1977 to 1978, business manager David Flynn from 1981 to 1992 and actor James Keach from 1993 to 2015.
The âHarry Wildâ star shares Katherine, 44, and Sean, 40, with Flynn, and is stepmom to Flynnâs daughter, Jenni, 46.
After marrying Keach, she became a stepmom to his son, Kaelen, 56, before welcoming twins Kristopher and John, 30.

The âLive and Let Dieâ actress first debuted her romance with Zambetti on Instagram in October 2023, after being set up by their children at a Shwayze concert.
âIâve never been happier. đ„°,â Seymour captioned a shot of the pair all dressed up.
In November, Seymour told Hello! magazine that she ânever thoughtâ sheâd find âa really committed, healthy, lovely, loving relationshipâ at this time in her life.
âBut Iâm incredibly blessed that I have,â she mused, â70 is the new 50.â
Seymour knows she met her now-fiancĂ© âat exactly the right time.â
âYouâve had a life. Many lives. And children, and grandchildren, and careers, and ups and downs. You know what you want,â she continued.
âI consider both of us so fortunate to have found each other at the time we have, because it wouldnât have ever worked earlier,â Seymour told the outlet.
The actress explained that before meeting Zambetti, who has also worked as an ER physician, he âhad a different life.â
âHis world was medicine and touring, and mine was running around the world making movies. I think we met each other at exactly the right time.âÂ
