Kate Hudson has infused her red carpet sartorial agenda with bridal flair, as she stepped out in an ethereal number for the season two premiere of Running Point in Hollywood on April 15.

The actress wore Look 31 from the Brandon Maxwell fall 2026 collection. Styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, Kate donned a sleeveless white gown with a high neckline and a softly draped, asymmetrical silhouette that flowed into an elegant maxi skirt. The collar was finished with subtle black detailing for contrast.

Kate’s luscious blonde locks were swept back into an elegant updo with face framing tendrils while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a smoky eye and nude-stained lip.

Kate Hudson’s upcoming nuptials

Kate’s bridal-inspired look hints at what we can expect from her wedding dress amid her engagement with her fiance, Danny Fujikawa. Kate and Danny announced their engagement via Instagram in 2021 and debuted her jaw-dropping $1million engagement ring at the Met Gala on the same day. The couple share one daughter, Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, who they welcomed in October 2018.

The actress previously shared that she likes the romantic idea of “getting engaged and staying engaged.”

“Well, I just don’t have the same kind of like, ‘Oh my God, I’m gonna get married and I can’t wait and I can’t wait for the party,’ it’s the opposite. I’m like, ‘OK, I have to plan it and then it’s gonna cost so much money’ and it’s just a lot,” she shared.

Kate also shared that she is open to a traditional Japanese ceremony due to Danny’s heritage. It seems the actress is keen to follow in her parents’ footsteps. Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have been together since 1983, and despite their engagement three decades ago, have yet to make it down the aisle.

This isn’t the first time Kate has embraced an all-white gown for the red carpet. This time last year, the actress graced the 2025 Fashion Trust U.S. Awards in a floor-length gown from Harbison Studio’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection.

The garment was crafted from silk and featured a sweetheart neck with a figure-hugging silhouette. The straps were adorned with large bows for a tinge of drama while the backless detail added a daring touch.
