Emilie Kiser is celebrating after a difficult year. The influencer, who lost her son Trigg in a drowning accident in 2025, announced that she and her husband Brady are welcoming their third child.

In an Instagram post shared with her 2.1 million Instagram followers, Emilie wrote: “We are so grateful and excited to share that we will be welcoming another baby into our family. This news feels very surreal and has already been such a bright light to us during some of our darkest days.”

She continued: “As I stated last year, my family’s privacy will always be my priority. Because of that, I’m not sure how much I will be sharing about this pregnancy and next phase of life, but I appreciate your understanding as I navigate those boundaries. This baby has already brought so much hope and joy into our home, and we are treasuring every moment of it together.”

What happened to Emilie Kiser’s son, Trigg?

In May 2025, Emilie’s three-year-old son Trigg died after drowning in the family’s pool. The influencer’s husband was watching their newborn when Trigg fell into the pool and drowned. According to USA Today, Brady lost sight of Trigg for three to five minutes, then discovered his toddler floating in the backyard pool.

Emilie’s husband faced potential child abuse charges after the investigation into Trigg’s death was completed.

“Following a thorough review of the evidence, investigators have recommended a Class 4 felony charge of child abuse against Brady Kiser,” a statement from the Chandler Police Department. But, a week later, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office shared there was “no likelihood of conviction” against Brady.

What has Emilie said about Trigg’s passing?

After her tragic loss, Emilie stepped back from social media, choosing to focus on grieving and her youngest son. In June 2026, she opened up in depth for the first time in June during an appearance on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast.

“Losing a child really shows you in the scariest, most real way possible just how quickly life can change, and how quickly life can be literally taken away,” Emilie shared. “I always try to remind myself that I have a choice to make. I can either let this completely derail me more than it already has, and not really feel like I’m fit or able to take care of my younger son, or I can do everything in my power to be the best mom I possibly can for him, and give him the same love that Trigg had and has.”
