Coincidence?
Harry Styles performed a Taylor Swift-inspired breakup song hours before her Madison Square Garden wedding to Travis Kelce.
Styles took to the stage at Wembley Stadium in London on Friday for the latest stop of his âTogether, Togetherâ tour.Â
Per a fan video, the crooner began singing his 2017 hit âTwo Ghostsâ which has been widely speculated to be about his 2013 breakup with the pop star.
Styles sang the songâs chorus a capella to the screaming crowd â though it is the verse that makes fans believe that the lyrics were written about Swift.
In the song, Styles laments, âSame lips red, same eyes blue / Same white shirt, couple more tattoos.âÂ
Hereâs latest on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelceâs wedding at MSG:
Those lines are considered a direct callback to Swiftâs 2014 track âStyle,â which references a âred lip classic thingâ and a âwhite T-shirt.â
Fans immediately took to the comments section of the video to point out how convenient his timing was to pull out the nearly decade-old track.
âHe knew EXACTLY what heâs doing!!â one wrote.
âIS HE CELEBRATING TAYVIS WEDDING AT WORK??â another questioned.
âout of all the songs⊠heâs the funniest person alive,â a third added.
Styles and Swift, notably, had a short-lived romance from 2012 to 2013. Despite the relationship only lasting three months, several iconic Swift songs came out of the split including âStyle,â âOut of the Woodsâ and âI Knew You Were Trouble.â
The âWatermelon Sugarâ singer is now engaged to Swiftâs close friend ZoĂ« Kravitz.
However, Page Six reported back in April that there is no bad blood between the friends and that Kravitz was still invited to Swift and Kelceâs nuptials.
Even though Stylesâ tour prevented him from being Kravitz +1 at the A-list soiree, it seems he made his mark on the event with his set list.
